You believe a current friend is going to propose? Like skip the bf/gf, you are just friends...and you thinks he's gonna propose?

You gotta stop him. Start burping and farming as much as you can. Invite him to dinner then cancel last minute and say this guy you've been talking to is taking you out. Whatever you do stop him from asking.

This is of course based on the assumption that you asking for advice how to duck it isn't just playing hard to get.

Not playing hard to get I promise, and we've worked together for a year friends tried to hook us up but he's a few steps older than I am. He always tried to treat me to dinner, take me out, by me things when he goes shopping. We text and email I had not given any hints towards anything and hes been acting strange says he has to tell me something but is nervous a week later he posts a photo of a ring caption "I think she's the one I'm going to ask her soon, still nervous". Should I disappear...? I'm into this other guy hes a libra around my age fairly tact and humorous.

No need to disappear, he hasn't done anything to embarrass either of you. But if you're really afraid he may pop the question forcing you to shoot him down and make things weird at work...stop him. Keep the professional relationship just make sure he knows that's all it is. Make a joke about the ring picture that you're glad no fool has asked you or something. Make sure he knows that isn't even a thought in your head. Mention a upcoming date with your imaginary (if need be) man friend who's gonna rock your world. Something...

Holy hell, how did i not realize this. I have keyboards to alphabetize around the office, and all kinds of stuff to plan for the kids tonight. Haha a couple years ago when I was leaving TX I turned in my notice on April fool's day. My boss said it was a terrible joke they wouldn't want to loose me...then I had to laugh and say the joke was that I am for real. He didn't think it was funny no more.

You can call me whatever you like haha. I randomly disappear from this site for months at a time too. I've been a member for several years now. But yeah I like to laugh and love stupid pranks. put a rubber band on the spray nozzle of the sink hose...oldy but goody. It's also funny to superglue change to the sidewalk.

People have definitely revenge pranked me. I don't consider it loosing though, no matter which side of a good prank you're on, no one looses. Fun for all ages! I don't do any real mean stuff and nothing overly dangerous. I play office pranks all year long. A few years back I had this coworker who was determined to get me back. If you've been in a cubicle, most of them have a hanging file cabinet where the door opens up and slides above. Well she was on the other side of the wall and my door was up. I was otherwise occupied and she stuck a cup full of paper clips and hole puncher confetti up there. End of day comes and I reach up and grab the front edge and pull the door out and down to close it. My area was a wreck.

I'm not sure where in the time line this would have been but I think my favorite prank to her was when I screenshotted her desktop background with the icons and everything. Saved that picture and set it as her new background. Then you can just right click on the desktop and select show/hide icons. hiding the actual icons leaves the picture in the same location on the desktop but there's nothing to click to open your program. You can see the mouse and use the start menu, just no icons work. When she asked me to help, I quickly unlike the icons, and everything worked fine. She thanked me for "whatever I did to make it work" and before I left I hide the icons again.... before long she had IT down there trying to figure it out. Ohhh she was mad for at least 10 minutes haha.
