My Taurus coworker is lazy af. I literally got him the job, so a little bit of effort would be nice.
He’s also a very large man. Over 6ft and just big, so he’s hot all the time and therefore thinks he has dominion over the thermostat in the lab we work in. So basically I’m freezing cold or have to deal with him sweating and huffing and puffing all day.

The weekend was rough. Sunday was the worst, because I knew I had to wake up early Monday and do a ton of work. Every single time I have something serious to deal with the next day after any period away from work, my chances of sleeping are 0% . Its what I call pretend sleep. Thats when you lay there with your eyes closed for 3 to 6 hours, but never actually fall asleep. Then the second you might actually achieve deep sleep, it's time to get up. So it's whatever, and something quite common for me after a weekend. So I got everything done Monday and thought "I'm going to go home, and sleep a good 12 hours." Which I could have actually achieved, but right before I passed out I thought to myself I should probably eat something today. So I ordered something from Subway on my phone. I know that's not the best place to eat, but I didn't want greasy fast-food, and God knows I wasn't about to cook anything. My fridge is empty anyway, and I'm tired of egg sandwiches. So I ordered my 700 calorie sub, and ate it. Then laid down extreamly fatigued ready to sleep. Then my throat started to feel like it was swelling shut. Idk if I have some type of food allergy I don't know about, or if I actually got food poisoning. All I know is every time I was about to fall asleep, I'd either fully awake again from not breathing, or hear myself semi snoor instantly throwing me out of the sleeping loop. That mixed with excessive sweating, which turned into intense anxiety. So now I'm fully awake on dxpnet, and if I went to sleep now, would get a little over 6 hours. I'm so pissed because I wanted a good 12 hours of sleep. I'm going to be absolutely fucked tomorrow. I'm hungry af, there is no fucking food anywhere, and I can't fucking sleep.

I used to work with a giant Taurus. 6'9 and 330lbs. Nothing hot about him though. He looked just like Morgan freeman.

My Aries work colleague has been complaining to me about a lot of work-related stuff - most of which requires patience and resolve to see them through.
I don't mind providing a shoulder to lean on but, today especially, it has been draining.
aries are super involved at work from what i've seen. must've been pretty stressful for her to bring it up.

Yes and no. What she's experiencing is nothing unfamiliar but she's afraid of talking to our boss about it. It makes no logical sense, as she has confessed far more personal details to our boss in the past.
I suppose that's one of the downsides of being an extrovert - in her situation, I would have dealt with the issues alone without drawing other people in unnecessarily.

It was an emotionally exhausting day and to be fair, I could very well be the asshole in this situation. But.. I think my best friend has main character syndrome. She never once said, so. How's life, how's work. I understand her difficult situation but sis... C'mon. The fact that she's made me feel guilty for being a "bad friend" just adds more fuel to the fire. Not once in the past two years has she said, "don't worry about, I'll drive us there, I'll pick you up.. let me take care of it." And yet I'm trekking halfway across town on a workday to do something she really needs.

I'm frustrated with a female friend I want more of. I brought this up and got copeout excuses. Either she is being dishonest to me or herself. Those excuses she gave me I know for a fact aren't true. I've seen how she is with others and I understand her to a degree that I have a good idea what she is keeping from me. The latter I take offense to because that means she doesn't trust me. I told her repeatedly I would accept and understand so long as it was the truth. Even one of her excuses is her supposed greatest fear, her level of intensity which is something I want and welcome.
Sure, both our lives are a bit of a mess but where there is a will there is a way. Life's too short for excuses. We are only her for so long.
All of This together leaves me in a bad spot.
She is one of if not thee most important person to me and my feelings are on par with that. I'd like to have a honest conversation with her and hash it out because having this up in the air, screws with me immensely. Anything can be hashed out and I'm open to ways of things being, other then what they currently are.
Something has to change.
If that doesn't happen, for my own mental health, I have to decide without real input for her.

I let it go take her off my priority list, stop chasing & reduce engaging so I don't get caught up again. Put my energy and focus into other areas of life. See what happens later down the road.
