I'm all for bringing back those parts of Glass-Steagall that restrict dealings between banks and securities firms.

That, combined with pressure on banks to expand mortgages under the CRA contributed greatly to the 2008 crash.

Perhaps, but the man had a lot of nerve (cajones) to brazenly and openly offend millions of people.

Among which, are those who want him dead, dead, dead.

Already, during the primary, I had personally observed that Trump was two-sided. My observation

was that he was intentionally trying to help Hillary get elected by defeating the other Republicans through

his rhetoric and his overt statements.

In other words, the man was engaging in a sleight of hand. A magic show, if you will.

However, because youth are ignorant, and women, minorities, homosexuals and misc. other, are sensitive

and passionately so, not unlike the youth, and because they are perpetually spoon fed propaganda of hate from the democratic side, in response to Trump's remarks, they could not see Trump's sleight-of-hand. Neither could many Republicans. Why? Because they too, have their weaknesses and passions.

I've already stated before that Trump is moving toward center, which is indicative of one who is attempting

to reach out to the other side, much to the dismay of those who supported and helped him get elected.

In order to maintain balance and order across the nation, any president will have to be middle-of-the-road.

Which means, the "extreme" left and right will have to take a backseat to the more moderate of their parties.

In so doing, many are going to be disgusted with him, and many will come to embrace him.

IMHO, it took a lot of nerve for Trump to do what he did and expect to win the election.

I was convinced that Hillary had it in the bag waay back and had reservations that Trump would win.

So much so, I had to cross my fingers because I, myself, like millions of others, and the mainstream media, was convinced that Hillary had it made and was a sure shoe-in.

But say that Trump doesn't have the cajones, is living in denial.

Trump is, as someone put it, a Wild Card.

Some will say he bankrupted x many times.

But as Monty said, he got back up. - and THAT is an important feature to consider when it comes to competition, and may feature prominent in his foreign and domestic policies.

It has been said.... the more you hate the man, the more he wins. That is obviously true in this election cycle.

Whether it remains true through to the next cycle, remains to be seen.
