What do you think of it? Does it float your boat? Do you think it's perverted?

Geez, what a topic. What do I think about bondage? I think whatever you want to do in the privacy of your home, is your biz.

Personally, I think it is perverted and leads to damage in a relationship, because people tend to take things to far, and someone ends up getting hurt. After that happens, you really want nothing more to ever do with the person because you won't trust them!

Whats to like about slavery or servitude?? I do it because I want to, not because I'm in bondage. I don't find it very sexy or appealing at all. The point of bondage is about domination and submission but to the point of degredation! It is different then say spanking or simulated rape(which is not like rape at all) etc...a little rough is okay, but don't go to far!!!

The media has helped to create a situation where women dress skimpy in public...yet, I believe the statistics state that a rape occurs every 6 minutes or some such VERY frequent number! So...why publisize what you got when it aint for everyone! Women have allowed themselves to be exploited to the max! (I know I am a broken record...but, what else am I to do! It irks me!!)

There is that stupid male mag called FHM (I believe it stands for F****** Humping Male), which totally exploits women in what they consider a cool, hip, sexy kind of way! Yeah! Whatever!

Great posts girls...I actually agree with both of you. I do like a little roughness, but I wouldn't want it to escalate to actual pain really. And I'm less about props than just hands or whatever.

I'm also waiting for the day when men and women will be more equal with one another.

I think that I remember a woman who walked on a homicide using the PMS defense? I can't remember the details, but I now it makes us do some weird stuff. I am only normal for about 7 days a month and the rest of the time I can be and angel or the devil's daughter! But, I am like clock work, so if you know this, you are aware of it in advance. Actually, I become alot more moody, because I am in so much freaking PAIN and discomfort!!!

Bondage, boring. Why do people have to role play? Arent they happy with who they are? Within a relationship its dysfunctional and as for wanted to do it with a stranger, — I can understand the need for a bit of rough and tumble but you are with the person to be with them, not to act out a fantasy. I think it all stems from a deep level of self loathing and self disgust. Why else would anyone want to punish themselves so much? Its like self-flagelation. Just my opinion, not my thing but each to their own, as long as they leave me out of it. The thrill for me is in the chase and in the mind. I dont think that being donminated is bad, I think is it how u do it and what u are using to do it with. I've always seen bondage not so much as a pain/dominance thing, but rather acts that emphasize the transgression of boundaries. Sex has become so in your face in so many ways and the idea of what is taboo (which is so often a mental turn on) is becomming eroded to the point of non-existence. Bondage is one way to search out personal limitations and become empowered by exceeding them (not confined to the dominant side).

It's a process that demands a hell of a lot of trust and exploring such issues generally creates a deeper sense of intimacy with a partner......um...or so i've been told...lol.

Each to their own though.
