What's going on with the fight to keep GMO companies out of your country?

Does Canada import food from the US?

The best way to avoid GMO's is through growing your own food.
Honestly, I've been wanting to move to a country that does not allow GMO's since this country is sopping it up like garlic butter sauce.

Switzerland and Denmark are non EU right?
Interesting that I have always wanted to live in both countries.
