Of course! I changed my life at least 3 times so far... and I can tell It's getting better. As long as It is the right decision, change your life as many times you want!

Do not take religion that serious, I mean... because religion hides many things.
But, If you don't want to deal with despair, you must control your emotions. Make sure you are making the right decisions (to be in harmony with that superior intelligence we call God 🙂)
