What’s the worst Christmas present you received this year or in years past? Random, awkward, passive aggressive, or just plain rude...

My friend’s step-grandma gifted her a framed photo of herself from 6 years ago...she’s pretty sure grandbitch took it out of her living room and wrapped it 😂😂

Idk what her sign is but that sounds like some passive aggressive bullshit to me

I got my husband a back shaver because I thought I was being helpful but apparently that was rude...and it really didn’t help that the company’s logo is a gorilla 😒🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband's uncle mailed him used brochures of local hiking spots for his (my husband's) birthday.

I was ready to go grocery shopping and mail the receipts and wrappers to his tacky ass, but my husband stopped me. 😬

They wrapped up the free hotel toiletries, including the mini pack of 3 qtips with one missing.

My boss is a multi millionaire and he notoriously never gives employees gifts or bonuses for Christmas. This year, I was an exception. He is showered with gifts from business associates and regifted me a bottle of wine and a Starbucks giftcard. He also put all the candy and snacks in the breakroom.

I literally received a re-gifted present that the person unwrapped 5 minutes earlier. I was *like....um why is this happening?* She made the effort of putting it (a scarf) in a new gift bag with tissue and everything---but I just saw you open this, so I didn't get the big presentation. She was the host of the party (my friend's older sister) and I guess she thought I would feel some sort of way watching everyone else unwrap their presents and I didn't have a present to unwrap. Jesus, I was 30, not 3. I can handle people unwrapping presents and take part in their joy without feeling salty. Lol.

these stories are hilarious - my mother was guilty of filling a box with all the junk she no longer wanted around her house and giving it to me - I'd just go through it and see if there was anything useful to me and then trash it

The purse is ugly af see tags so looks like a pass-along. Worse of all ive never use bags like that.

Like bro burlington and all those stores are open on 26th and have gift bags + wrapping tissue.

Just a really lazy and inconsiderate way to “make up” for the lack of initial thought.

In middle school I spent Christmas with my friend and her family. Her aunt gave her a pair of size 3x control top panty hose and a used copy of Finding Nemo. I’ll never forget that. I’m still laughing!

My sister gave me dry shampoo and a leg shaving gift set you see at Walmart.

This bitch got a designer wool coat from me that’s $ 400+ and I got it on sale @ that price.

Her children’s gifts all together came to just under 1k.

I literally looked at her and said: next year I’m matching the budget that you just set and not a penny over....

She was embarrassed 😳 that I actually said her gifts were cheap and I really don’t care...

I get that the holidays are really not about gifts 🎁! However, our family puts effort into gift giving and she knows she’s expected to put work into it since her little family cleans up the MOST gifts out of anyone in our family. If you can’t afford a lot then make it thoughtful and unique. Don’t buy me bathroom products I already have ffs.

So in my old job one of my Scorpio colleagues became a decent friend. When my birthday came around I guess she forgot about a gift. I don't know if she went to buy it from a grocery store or had one with her but she got me a pharmacy branded concealer stick (which is whatever) but she put it in the office envelope all crunched up and taped up.

I was so pissed. I took it to her desk and I said "IF you're not going to put thought into a gift, it's better not to give anything at all."

She was upset at that saying how i was hard to please...
