Probably. Something about their teaching style may not work for you. And/or they suck at their job.

The only D I got in college was from a professor whose class everyone struggled with. His tests were ridiculous, his lectures were weird, and I spent tons o time in the homework lab working on it. I always did well on homework, but for some reason, his tests just didn't add up. I wasn't alone, so I knew it wasn't me.

I ended up taking it again with a different professor. Got a B+ instead. She was amazing at her job.

One of my math professors was telling us that people can teach math but it doesn't mean they know HOW to teach it effectively. It's why so many people develop mental blocks in math- you have people teaching it who can't really teach it.

Probably. I failed an online statistics class. Should probably take that in a regular classroom.

Yeeeah, stats isn't something you want to take online haha. It's already entirely different from the massive amounts of algebra based math beaten into our heads since middle school (probably earlier now), so to switch it up and take it online of all places... yikes.

Aha, I used that website for picking out all of my professors for next semester

That is practically a bible for college haha. Out of the zillion of years I was involved in undergrad, I think I ended up with one or two craptastic professors. The rest were fine thanks to that site. Once you hit major related classes, it's pointless to use since that specific department has the same professors and they're all you have.

But then again the last two years of school for me were nothing but major related because that's all I had left to finish. May not be the case with everyone their junior and senior years.
