I'm being haunted again... OK, I like being alone, but not when I'm outnumbered by three ghosts...
ERRRGGGG!!!! (I'm freaked out)
But I feel like I'm in the fighting spirit tonight, so if they want a fight, I'm ready. And I turned up the radio really loud so I don't hear the whispering and footsteps and stuff...
oh the room mate thing? not in the least... I don't do good having to share very tight spaces with people for extended periods of time... I become... very... cuastrofobic... And probably will take to wandering the streets by night to escape the snoring, and I will get a room mate that snores, because that's just my luck.
Yes....yes... drifting the streetways and alleys.. looking.. searching.. when all you want is that perfect cup of cappincino.. (don't let msp's destroy the mood) Roll with it, babe...
lol... hmmm... yes... under the stars at night, and for some reason I'm sure you can see the stars, despight it being a city... yes... Oh wait, I'm not looking up... oh no, that's not the moon, the moon wouldn't be honking at me...
Fair enough. You're thinking. Ahem.. (here comes the dumb answer).. You can only run half way into a forest. The other half, you'll be running out. (This is merely free association time.. there are No grades here..)
lol... now that you say the punch line, yeah, I've heard that one before... lol... so, are you half into the forrest or half out? this is sort of like a weird play on the glass of water question.
Ahhh.. Jedi.. but the water glass is a .. fumble/dammit.. ah.. thingymabob.. (sigh) about one's life perspective.. whether it be half full (opto) or half empty (deppresso..) Ergh..sorta.. (no matter.. pay no mind.. ) If' you've no mind, it doesnt' matta anyway.. Whereas the forest doomaflichy is regarding spatial distance. Or whatever else kind of impressive bull pucky I can get in here.. Sniff.
yeah I see well just thought that maybe if you think you're half in, you're a lot more depressed than if you think you're half out, but then that could just be my mind, and what do I know? I'm not even in a forrest... no my mind is at the beach... I like the beach.. nice... I think I'll go swimming...
Ohh.. no, I liked that.. Your way refers to "moods".. a yet different aspect I'd not considered. If you are by the beach, truly, I would.. nice there. (We have no true beach.. it was imported and plunked on a lake front.. s'not the same.)
yeah... same here... I'd have to drive to long island to go to a real beach... I'd like to... but can't right now... hmmm... but now, I'm at the beach in my mind... which is good enough for me right now... cause you know, dreams and images in your mind can be perfect and never disappointing, unlike if I was really at the beach, and probably it would be raining or something.... although it's fun to be at the beach in the rain, actually I like it better.... especially lightning... although that's just not smart... I knew a girl who was killed, struck by lightning on the beach... not good at all... see, though, just imagining yourself at the beach, you can't get struck by lightning, well, you could, but then you'd really have to be depressed.
I've been at the beach, up to my neck in water, with it raining. That's strange enough.. drops pelting the surface and a million splashes.. then I did begin to see lightening. (I got out then) And true, probably no safer than standing on the beach, the tallest thing within 100 feet, etc. Perhaps it was just more impressive because the strikes looked much longer, traveled further or that I could just see more of the unobstructed horizon. (it's been too long since I've done that..)
Where I live, going to the [real]beach at night is more visually interesting for me. You can see dozens of tiny lights on the horizon (oil platforms.. but I don't dwell on this) and usually clear skies. The smell of salt and sounds of waves seem more intensified at night, and you're more likely to be the sole occupant. (And stars are always good.)
I'll give you credit Freebird.. I had more, but I'm too fuzzy at the moment to think of them. Hmm.. Well, here's one you may already know.. It's based on true history.. How many eggs are in a "baker's dozen".. and "why"?
No you can run half way after that your running out. As for ghost we have tons of them here most people beleive in them except I, I think its all B.S. never seen one and only have had a couple exsperances were it could have been one. but I opt for another explanation.
The Baker's Dozen.. and authorities.. very true. I think this was that medieval period you spoke of as well, earlier? Apparently, not putting a full dozen in a "sale" (either from cheating or forgetting) lead to baker's putting in 13.. (yup) to ensure even if you miscounted by 1, that "at least" you'd have.. 12. (which was the original deal.. only needed 12..) I heard the penalty was stiff, but don't know how bad it was.. flogging? beheading? Never found that answer.
My last one.. A car barrels down the road at 50 mph, into a head wind of 45 mph, down an incline of 30 degrees slope.. How fast is the speed of each tire as it makes contact with the surface of the road? BTW.. this is like the forest.. it's a BS answer (and yet it isn't) Don't rack your brain.
no, that's funny. but must say though that the ghosts will haunt u. someday i hope. just so that u know. i've had a few experinces with them. anyone ever heard of Question u know the artist.
Alright, I'm willing to admit my stupidity on this one....
Can someone please explain to the girl who had to take Algebra twice, why the answer is zero miles per hour? I've a feeling it's something to do with the fact that the wind is almost causing the car to not be able to move, and the degree of the slope is somehow preventing the car from touching the ground...
grrrr....the only comfort I can take right now is in the fact that I overcompensated for my complete lack of numeric knowlege in English Lit...
Phoenix, Do not feel alone here. I hated math questions which gave a slew of figures and such.. while you killed yourself trying to somehow tie them all in. When in fact, you weren't supposed to. (Believe it.. it happened to me also..) The tell tale sign is :"the tire speed making Contact with the road". At the moment of contact (that instant) it's literally "not" moving at all (for a fraction of a second).. All the other facts were there only to confuse.. which they do, and did.. to me and others. It's not math per se, it's that "thinking outside the box".. the ordinary, the conventional.
How can I put this.. I do feel a tad of smugness.. since you gals have that built in radar thing.. whereas we guys would rather die than admit or need directions. We suffer from homing~beacon envy. How's that?
I've thought of this before: for a moment, when walking, you are completely off the ground. So all day long, you're falling. Or flying, if you see the glass as half-full...
I PUT my spoon in the box!! And yeah.. walking, running, etc.. is falling forward..all day long. Flying would be great.. falling is reaching terminal velocity. (that last a tad bit telling, eh?) Suspension of Reality: Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear "We're Falling with *! style โจ ..... (pthupt!) Morgan.. DoN't mAke me do the Tree falls inna forest/sound thing.. cuz Virgos hate that.. Forest for the trees biz. Besides.. you mean heading for that unseen forest while inside the city or wha.. Gheez I hate this stuff!
The forth is your independence day, So let me be the first tory to say it looks as if you colonials may make it without us. Its just a shame that the great british war hero Benedict Arnold isn't here to see this. Thinking on it I see you still use our lan
Granted, some of this is funny, and parts of it ring true, but a lot of it is horrible, downright horrible. And that's why I'm posting it. *evil laugh*...
Just kidding. Just throwing some "entertainment" around ;)
how do relationships actually work? i mean i bet it takes a lot of hours just to support an apartment. So basically, do people even actually spend quality time together? is love between two people in a relationships even necessary in this world? i am NOT
Wow, I can't believe Katherine Hepburn died. S'pose it had to come sometime though... 96 and in her own home. Guess I'm just a bit upset, and shocked. I just wanted to pay her a tribute. Rest in peace Katherine Hepburn ;)
ok, i was looking around the Kabalarian site and clicked on newsletters. The June 2003 newsletter talked about Destiny and towards the middle of the page showed how to find your birthpath number. here's mine
I never really liked my name. No one ever gets it right. "KARISSA". No one gets that. Everyone think's it's CLARISSA, which it is not, but everyone still thinks that, and I blame it all on that stupid TV show "CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL", although she reall

or super villain, which one would best characterize you? and i mean you can't pick wonderwoman because of her huge breasts or the hulk because you suffer from inferiority complex.
I pick a hybrid of Austin Powers and Gambit (x-men) for tate :P

I finally got called back about the job aplication I submitted to the deli near me! I've got to go tomorrow for a job interview, but it's pretty much a done deal, they're going to hire me. Yay!!! I finnally have some sort of income!
Just found it. Not even taken the test yet. Seem to be many, many different types of tests. (I'd be interested in the ladies responses to "Are You A Dark Angel" quiz. ( May have to track back to http://quizilla.com/ )
I am, according to my driver's license, but to be honest, I felt a little pressured into it. I know it's a wonderful thing, I know it's the ultimate act of selflessness, etcetera, but I have a hard time getting over the "eebeegeebees" of it all.
I am having the *hardest* time deciding this. There are so many pros and cons to each. Ideally, I would want to be placed in one of those mosuleum things, but I doubt my family could ever afford that (pretty sure it's really expensive).

I think I make it through the night...
