How would you fix it?

I offered this guy a ride to the airport. Eventhough I set my alarm I ended up oversleeping. I feel so terrible eventhough he said that he understood and he knew I was tired. He ended up finding another way to the airport. What would you do to make up for this or would you do nothing? I'm thinking about buying him dinner or sending him something.

If he took a cab, I would find the cost of the fare and send it

(not hand it to him... he'd refuse).

If not, I would send him something of equal value that you

KNOW he really likes... a certain restaurant or bar etc

Thanks for the feedback. I agree with getting him something. One of my friends told me not to do anything b/c it would make me look desperate especially since I told him I was sorry. I do not agree with her advice.

I was thinking a small gift, and card with the money he had to pay for the parking. I just feel terrible
