I have a really hard time

Being patriotical on Anzac Day or days where u have to remember the military's fallen, it makes me angry. I watched Stanley kubricks full metal jacket the other night and I loved that movie so much it really got in my head a played around with me. It makes you think that all the abuse and hardening and assimilating into a deadly sheep is necessary to protect the nation but it's mainly used to make people who own the banks richer...

The thing I hate about Australia's army is that it's called and promoted as "defence force" when really it's an offence force that acts as Americas lapdog and starts trouble in other countries.

I feel really bad that people decided to go to war and die for me but it goes against my morals and logic, I guess I'm not a patriot because I know the land I live on was inhabited by people before white people came so I don't really care if we are invaded because we haven't done anything good for the people of the land and it would be karma for us, I honestly don't expect to live in a beautiful country at the expense of others and not receive karma do I want it to happen? No I don't want us to die I just want us to stop funding armies and start spending money on ourselves to make us a stable nation
