What are your views on it?

I'd never support anyone financially. So, as long as he can support himself, I don't care who makes more.

I don't think men could handle making less than their wives. It doesn't really matter since I'm not exactly in a lucrative field. Unless my husband is in the same field as me, most likely he will make more. As long as I can live reasonably comfortable it doesn't matter to me how much money he makes.

This is something to ponder, especially the bold part.

I think it's mainly an ego thing and the upbringing has a lot to do with it. Most people I know feel validated by the amount of money they make. Sometimes I feel like they would contemplate suicide if they earned the amount of money I make, lol.

Actually, men who make more than me make me really really uncomfortable inside. They all have this attitude like they think they own you and want to impress you with wrong things, such as material things. Ewwww, just ewwww!!!!!!!!!

Don't you have the same problem with those who make less than you?

I can't imagine myself minding such a thing.
