Well, if it was my last meal it would probably mean the world was ending or that i was going to die, in which case i would feel too sick to eat, lol.

But seriously, i love seafood too and a nice big fillet steak, chips and salad never goes astray.

If i had to chose a 'last' meal, i would chose a traditional italian meal such as a homemade pasta or veal dish. I went out for dinner the other night and had this tortellini stuffed with spinach and ricotta cheese, tossed in chilli, butter, herbs and garlic; yum. I am urging my friend to go back there with me, hehe, and i WILL have my way!

This is kind of un-nerving to even think about this, when there are people that face this question in prison all the time, and here we make light of it!

And don't give me any lip about expressing my opinions because I am older, and I should at least get some respect for that!

Also, to the young lady who eats veal. You should see how they make it! I doubt you would ever eat it again. They take the calf from the mother and keep it in a cage so it can't move and has very little light. All that so you can enjoy your gluttoness appetites! I think eating meat is very unhealthy and when someone is diagnoised with cancer, the first thing they do is take them off meat and milk!!!

Yummmm!Being my last meal,I wouldn't have to worry about eating too much and then having trouble getting up from the table and walking around. So,I'll feed myself to the death! And the best thing is to order a caterer to bring whatever they served to their last reception - but non-vegetarian,otherwise,I would have to kill myself before the last meal!
All kinds of small sandwiches with caviar, juicy steak with round carrots and butter, spicy sauceges, meat balls with sesami seeds, paella.

'Your mother',

I know what you mean about the veal thing. Just after the post i had a veal chop and i didnt enjoy it at all. Also, a year or two ago, i went off veal for the very reasons you pointed out in your post. Somewhere along the line i must have had a good veal meal and started eating it again. Now after your post and my experience the other night, i will try to stay away from it. Sometimes i would like to go vegetarian for the pure reason it is cruel to animals but i like to eat meat every now and then, its a craving i get for iron. I think i will be more selective on what types i eat though.

I had beef and garlic sausages last night, they were pretty good. No need to tell me sausages are made from the scraps on the floor, i know! They tasted so good though!

Scorpio woman, the tortellini wouldnt be that hard to make. You just cook it up and toss it in some melted butter, olive oil, fresh herbs, garlic and a bit of chilli. You could even do it with plain pasta but add (as the last minute) some fresh spinach and ricotta cheese. Its a light meal believe it or not. You feel full, satisfied but not over heavy. I wanted to be a chef, can you not tell 🙂

You've just given me an idea for a proposal for dxpnet; a recipe exchange board.
