Reminds me of synesthesia.

These people where not ready to leave their body... in some way forced it... or something happened... when they re-enter they are not the same... something did not click... there they are part in or out... You will always be pulled back to your body at some point or leave it two long... you can't live on two plans at the same time... time effects are different...
You can also have some type of physical injury that does this as well I believe...
Either way something did not click in to place like before... The use of mult. more then one sense a is used all the time... even to make up for other ones... Image... if someone could use more of these together even at the same time...
It is often the seeing that distracts us... if you could no longer see to believe you would have to find another way to believe...

hrmmm that's an interesting idea. makes me want to blindfold myself for a few days just to see how i handle it. wish i could get away with a test like that.
in all of the 5 physical senses??_ i wonder which one most people would be least attached to.
