Why not (watch Fox)? Could have quoted ABC or another source, still doesn't change the basic irony of the situation.

Instead of "shooting the messenger" to divert the topic, let's talk about a guy protesting the police who suddenly discovers that maybe having them around isn't so bad after all.

Too bad he had to get robbed to have that epiphany.

Some people need that swift kick to dislodge their head from their ass.

BLM is simply saying they want police reform. It's all in the numbers. The proportion of blacks that get shot by police is waay more than their actual percentage (in terms of population) i.e. more of them get shot and killed than their white counterparts for the same crimes.

I took the liberty to cut out the editorial diatribe. If you're referring to the 21x number touted by the media, this is one among many articles that casts doubt:

Now, if you want to dismiss it in favor of entertaining your own biases, suit yourself.

What you get is this:

And why bother (in a situation like Ferguson)? If you're going to get hung for trying to do your job by those with an axe to grind, no sense in going into the situation in the first place.

Unfortunately, that road gets you Detroit (for at least 40-50 years, the city seems to be trying to turn a corner), Chicago, Baltimore, East Saint Louis, Gary, and on and on and on.
