People who make life difficult for themselves

I've been surrounded by these people for so long, when I was little mum made me paint my room and I was in my hands and knees and my knees were sore so I got a stool and sat and painted, my mum walked past my room and saw me and told me to get off the stool and get on my haunches and paint because apparently it's lazy to work while you sit and men don't sit while they work, clearly she didn't know me......the bitch (I say endearingly) has always made my life difficult like this and I've always wondered why it has to be like this and now that I'm an adult and work I can't help but see how people make life more difficult for themselves and it really offends me that they impose their methods on other people.

if you find an easier way of doing something then I fucking applaud you, physical labour should only be exercised these days if you want a work out, we.re on earth for a little while we need to look after our bodies. My last boss used me like a work horse because I was the only strong man on hand and she made me lift boxes out of a shopping trolley and I did my back in the whole time she was unnecessarily stressing out because it was delivery day and she aaaalways flips on delivery day, I broke my back and she's still barking orders at me and not listening to me when I to,d her I hurt myself which lead me to snap and physically scream at her to tell her that something was wrong to get her to listen.....what the fuck is wrong with people??!?.....I hate work.

This is why I love laying tile so much. It doesn't matter how you do it, just as long as it doesn't come of the floor for years, is nice and straight, grouted correctly, and looks like a work of art to the homeowner. Also as long as you can get it done befor the deadline. Other then that you're free to lay however you see fit.

Though I do get some shit from my boss every now and then that I'm doing somthing the hard way. Like cutting the hole for the shower faucet for instance. He can easily measure from the wall, the pan, the make an x in the middle the cut the hole perfectly. I like to measure 2 measurements from the wall, 2 from the pan, then get a perfect measurement without guessing. Sure it takes me a tiny bit longer to do the cut, but I never have to worry about fucking it all up and then start over with a new tile.
