I wish I could help but I never wear eyeliner. Only mascara, and I know you didn't ask about mascara *But*, lol, Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof is my favorite, and next to that, "Voluminous" (I think that's Maybelline too) is my second favorite. You must always use the waterproof formulas because just like the commerical says, you never know when it's going to rain or you might cry. lol, it's true. Also I have this huge pet peeve about runny mascara.

I *hear* that liquid waterproof eyeliners are the best, but make sure you don't get too cheap a brand because I think when it comes to that stuff you usually get what you pay for, when I was a teenager and couldn't afford anything else I used a lot of Wet & Wild stuff but then I started trying slightly more spendy brands and did in fact notice a difference in quality (but it depends on the product). My mascara is relatively cheap, but I will only use Clinique makeup on my face because I think it looks very natural and also I have sensitive skin and can't tolerate a lot of other brands. Even though the price of Clinique products are insane, *but*, I think they last longer because you need less product because IMO the products are made with a bit higher quality, therefore it all evens out.

Shuttin' up about makeup now. 😛

Actually not yet I'm not, have you heard of a brand called Philosophy? They make this lip gloss-slash-moisturizer called "Kiss Me" and it comes in red and clear, I tried the red, which is very translucent so it only ends up looking like your own lips but a bit more flushed looking...and it is the best stuff ever. A little tiny bit goes a long way, the only thing that annoyed me is that it's ten dollars for a tiny pot of it, but it will last for a long time (so again, it's all relative in the end). It feels great on your lips, has no taste but smells citrus-y, and gives a really nice shine without being too glossy looking. I have it with me at all times, it's very moisturizing. Try it!

Wow, phoenix you're a makeup queen. Meaning you know a lot in this area lol. I don't use liquid eyeliner, more so pencil. I'm not much of a makeup person, I'm just familiar with good ol eyeliner. I tried red lipstick but it doesn't really go well with me -sniff-(well I dont know, I needed a second opinion. lol.) maybe if I tried a rasberry tone? That's an awesome color.

I asked about Wet n Wild because my friend's mom is CRAZY about makeup. She wears it to sleep too! Well I do too but it's mostly because I'm too careless or lazy. She informs me that Wet n Wild is 'great' for long lasting effect but really... I bought it few days ago and the outcome was negative. :\ I guess the structure of your face also depends. Hm. I don't know.

Red is a tricky color to pull off. The rule of thumb is supposedly that if you have a "cool" thing going on (blue or green eyes) and fair skin, go with a "blue-based red" shade. (BTW, raspberry is a "cool" shade) If you have warm tones like brown or hazel eyes, dark skin, etc, go with a warm tomato-ish red shade. If you have a combination of cool and warm features, you can go with any shade of red you feel like. I guess the goal is to not wear a color that clashes with your natural coloring. I read somewhere that you should never wear lipstick darker than the color of your lips after you've been having a hardcore makeout session with someone. 😛 I've always tried to keep that in mind when it comes to lipstick. But for special occasions or those dressier moments in life, I do like red.
