P has a point. Muslim women who wear the veil (or hijab) either by choice, religion, or the goverment have this sort of issue. Many of these wear the full bodied veil because in their culture, hair, exposed skin, ect can be seen as enticing. Covering it up is supposed to alleviate this, but the opposite effect is also possible: people become more intrigued by what they can't see.

Of course we're attracted to tits, whether they are covered or completely exposed. But isn't the excitement of a sexual encounter just getting the close off, finally exposing the skin and getting to what you want. You sit there imagining what the person looks like naked.

Sex is starts off as mental/psychological and eventually works its way to being physical.

i think it all roots back to childhood. if you weren't taught in some way (by society, media) that breasts and asses were considered arousing/sexual, you probably wouldn't think anything of them compared to any other body part.

It's actually a scientific fact. Now P does have a good point, but nice curvy shape and feel of breasts is arousal to man no matter what. Now if P Angel said something else that's usually always shown which is also curvy and soft? Then that would make more sense. But what we think is nice is subjective, ankles could be a giant turn on for jo blogs down the street. The bigger the better, the more fertile the more attractive.

well its hormones in the brain so it is kind of a mental thing i think that's y scientist say sexuality is a tricky think because everybody attraction to things are different so it all comes down how the brain was wired when that person was a fetus.

On the radio this morning there was a discussion about what men notice first. A survey had been done and overwhelmingly men were attracted to a woman's hair first (as well as eyes and smile). The radio personality (male) disagreed... he believes it is boobs then ass (forget the hair, eyes or smile).

A caller made the statement that even gay men are attracted to boobs (based on his brother being gay and still having an appreciation for breasts) - maybe PP can chime in on that one.

On a side note regarding the hair, the radio personality and callers admitted to thinking a woman was hot from the back based on her beautiful, long locks only to find out she was not so attractive when she turned around OR it was, in fact, a man! (and admiring a man from the back, not realizing its a man, happens multiple times in a guys life)

I haven't read the whole thread (yet) but just want to say I agree with P-Angel on this.. it's psychological.. you want what is taboo or not commonly on display... I watch a lot of History Channel.. in countries where women cover their faces, the sight of a woman's face is a turn-on... in the early early American days when women kept wrists and ankles covered, a flash of ankle when she hiked her skirt to climb a stair-step was thrilling in an amorous way... in African tribes where breasts are always exposed, they are not viewed sexually, no more than WE view a man's bare chest as shocking or sexual... some Oriental like the Burmese "Giraffe Neck" women (Kayan Lahwi) .. the ones we've marveled at for years with their insanely long necks wrapped in coils (actually, their necks stretch very little.. a spine does not stretch.. but the coils push down on their shoulder muscles and tendons, slowly forcing them down and forward in a rolling fashion, which makes the neck appear longer).. well, in THIS village, whenever a young woman has her neck rings removed (if the brass coils were irritating her, etc) even temporarily.. when she's out in public with her bare neck exposed, it is an attractive sexual thrill for the men, much the same as bare breasts are to the men who hang out on DXP.

It really IS down to the psychology of it all.. what is always on display is not sexual, it's mundane.. what is hidden in that culture becomes a sexual thrill to see, because it is rare, it is almost forbidden or taboo.

P.S. I do agree with what you say P-angel. There are certain cultures that don't find breasts attractive, but find other parts of a womens body attractive that we don't find attractive. There were also different times in our future where we found different part of the man and womens body attractive like the ankles and collarbone.
