Nursing specialties and Zodiac?

I keep asking (and being asked) people's birthdays in the OR. Seems like at LEAST 2/3 of them are Saggs. So I wondered, is that because Saggs have type A personalities (frequently)? You pretty much HAVE to be Type A to get on well in the OR/ER. And if that's true, what about Psych? OB? Peds? Med/Surg? ICU? Public Health? Any sign particularly drawn to any other area? I can't find any statistics for it online, but I do know there are other nurses here on dxp, anyone notice anything like this?

Oh and if not Sagg, at least fire. 3 Sagg so far, 1 Leo.

I was a nurse for 5 years and i'm a leo. I've changed departments but I am still in the health profession. I know a dental hygienist that is a sag. Another leo friend of mine is a social worker for rehab. Most fire signs I know are in the entertainment industry though. I see a LOT of earth signs in the psychiatric ward... I mean profession (mostly virgos) 😉

It's a high-energy job and fire signs have the most energy imo. 🙂

Also, Saggis enjoy being really busy and having a lot to do.
It sounds crazy, but I love having a hundred things to do and not nearly enough time to do it all. I will feel tired and stressed, sure, but in some sick way I enjoy it. I'm happiest when I have very little spare time.

I'm almost done with my pre reqs to get into nursing school, but its not my passion or anything. I work for myself, but figured I'd earn a degree to fall back on. Because nursing is perhaps one of the most lucrative careers with the least amount of schooling needed, I chose it.

My mom is a nurse, as well. Shes a Scorpio.

I'm the same way. I love having so many things to do that I look up and the day's over. Guess that's the sag part of me coming out? I really feel like I LOVE each and every one of my patients. The biggest thing I dislike about OR is I only get to talk to the patients for like less than 5 minutes before they're knocked out. I don't like peds or ob, but mostly because I don't like listening to crying. I am too compassionate too, the peds rotation I had to do was really hard because I felt like I couldn't help the kids, couldn't relate to them really. They just kept crying 😢

I work in the nursing field and I do think it's linked to my cancer moon. I'm a natural nurturer and I never realized it until I started taking care of the old folks. Don't think I could do ER/OR, I don't have the nerve for it.. I get stressed out/panic easily.

You think so? I know quite a few cancer moon people and they won't go near the health profession (save for the virgo sun/cancer moon guy that is a psychologist). Especially nursing. They're not the types who could handle the duties involved. They are nurturers but not in that way.
