I indulge people's stories all the time! When I get bored I just point out why everything they told me is BS. I don't see why an Aqua would want to waste their time on nonsense, though.
Well I mean if I'm at work it's either I listen or be rude and cause conflict. If I don't have to be somewhere like just out and about I wouldn't pay much attention to them at all.

Yeah, this is what I figure the general outcome would be. Mostly, why I just sit back and get annoyed almost willingly you'ld think. I just wonder though if even though they won't own up to it... at least they'll learn their bullshit doesn't fly and they need to actually accomplish real things in life to gain respect and not feel like they can make shit up to do that.

i dont know anyone in real life who BS's. Everyone i know are very open and honest about themselves (I mean they have their privacy too, but you can get a gist about who they are upfront)
Maybe the company you keep is like that, and don't mind them, because they want to feel good about themselves.
I let them go on & on w/o ever alerting them to the fact that I know they're full of sh**t, just to see how far they'll go
I never take it personally though. Pathological liars aren't usually bad/evil people, nor are their intentions usually to hurt you. They just have a lot of insecurities, personal problems & use outlandish statements as a means to over-compensate for what they're really lacking.
If someone I care about is lying to me about something that is important or is affecting me in some way, then instead of wasting the energy accusing them of lying or begging them to be honest, I just show my displeasure by distancing myself from them. It's not until I disappear that it hits them that I didn't believe their bullsh**t after all

1 time I was out with some girlfriends when this guy approached us. He went on & on about how rich he was & how he was known all around town for his connections/money. I mean this guy was going on & on about his money like he really believed what he was saying!!

How is that unreal? My neighbors are who they are. They don't pretend to be something they are not. Maybe my husband's colleagues, but he doesn't befriend alot of people either.

I am not always right but normally then it is like tasting the food after it is done... not getting mad and learning from it for next time... so pin pointing how and where you are wrong is equally important... not getting hurt or to egotistical is important when looking at charts..
