My friend suggested I get a truck or SUV to drive. I asked him why and he said that it would be easier for me to see the road. But I don't like big cars or square cars. I like small, compact cars or sedans and all BMW M3s. Cars that can fit into COMPACT parking spaces—the ones that have trees for shade growing just over the cemented border.

Some people like that stuff. Has nothing to do with their height. I have never noticed this. Maybe you notice this because you don't like short men or maybe you don't know how to mind you own business. Idk. A lot of men like loud things and sports cars. I doubt every short man buys expensive things to make himself feel better about his height.

My ex was like this, LOVED big trucks/cars, expensive vehicles with add on mods were his thing. He wasn't short though, he was quite tall, about 5'11, not TOO tall. I dont like too tall. Some women do, though. They love them towering like a basketball player.

I was speaking of ANY insecurity.
I also have my reasons for suspecting that some of these "showpieces" have to do with insecurities; that is one example.
That is my experience-- and believe it or not, I am free to have and voice my opinion on anything displayed publicly.
"Publicly" makes it anyone's business. 😉
