Saying placement of a tattoo is cliche reads like you should wait before getting a tattoo, to me, as you're preoccupied with what others will think, plus it sounds immature.

Reasonably high in the inner thigh. Its sexy.. pretty much any guy who is going to take a closer look is going to go down on you.
Of course i'm assuming your a she.

I would sujest you get a fake one the one's that come off in a week or two and place it in the spots you have in mind.

Co-sign.
Also talking to your tattooer about the
design you had in mind will give you a
better idea where they feel it would look
best placed on your body. But ultimately it's
up to you where the ink goes. Having no idea
what your design looks like I think for a
woman the inner wrist, nape of neck, ankle
and top of foot are nice places for ink. And
those areas can be concealed with clothing.click to expand

Plus it would hurt more getting it there. Always a bonus.

These days everyone and their fucking grandma has a tattoo. Be a rebel, and not get one at all.

as for the OP.
The upper arm/should is a good place as it'll only be visible when your shirt is off. The ribs would hurt like a mofo...the chest is kinda sensitive too.click to expand

The only reason I've been stumped is because everywhere has been turned into something so cliche or overdone.
My main concern is a spot that could easily be covered up, as the profession I'm in isn't exactly enthusiastic about them.
Low back is out, for obvious reasons. Shoulder blade seems too cliche as well as the bicep or deltoid area.
Not too sure about ribs/hip.
I guess I'm just looking for a brainstorm of ideas. Been kind of stumped. No location really stands out to me...
