LOL Take what? I've had the same ear piercing since I was 5 years old. About a 18 gauge..WUSS. I saw some pretty ball type half hoops but they're too big. Since they're surgical stainless ( I have nickel allergies ) and am blind as a bat with the 16/18 gauge screw on balls..well.

Awwww. I could cheat with the 'faux' plugs but nah! I've got ink but never got into the piercing side. But I do find the idea of earrings that I never have to take out and won't give me problems awesome. 🙂

I think I was 10 when I first had my ears pierced, both ears like a bad ass too 🙂
Yeh surgical steel is the best whilst stretching, things like stone or wood are supposedly best for when you're at the size you want.

Mine were my 5th birthday pressie. I was big stuff. Sat there expectantly very excited and *pinch, pinch* done and I was a supahstar. I had EARRINGS. My sister threw a fit wanting hers done. One ear she wailed like a mashed alley cat. She didn't get the other one done. I puffed up double then. I was TOUGH, I was BAD ASS, I had SPARKLES IN MY EARS.

I'm not sure if I do want to stretch my ears, if I do it's not by much. The thought of dangling elderly lady lobes with huge orb sized earrings doesn't appeal much. Mayyyybe a 14, cos I'm tough like that. 😛 I have a propensity to play with my earrings so I lose the smaller screw on balls. My son puts them on for me, to his great delight I'm sure. The male groans are a tip off.
