Derailed threads are the best way of finding new friends and making enemies... It is one of the ways of getting to know each other, Our emotions drive these threads, most of it is uncontrolled anger, trolling, sarcasm, rude remarks, and the occasional pat on the back white knighting.
I see it happen so often here, its fun to watch at times.
