Most people haven't realized yet, but anime is already a dead medium. It peaked in the 90s and in the 00s they started producing derivative shit. They only keep producing manga/anime out of habit, but they don't have anything interesting to say anymore.

-DBZ peaked at the vegeta/nappa arc. It should have ended after goku asks krillin to let vegeta go in his space capsule. Everything after that is a disgrace.

-I was the biggest fan of Yuyu Hakusho, but it took me 30 years to realize that the story sucks. The setting and characters are great, but the storyline is boring. The cinema movies are better than the series.

I saw a few episodes of Baki and it's 2stupid4me.

I'm actually not huge on Anime, or shows/ movies on general. What I do love is extremely fucked up anime. Berserk is one that instantly comes to mind. I also loved Devil Man Crybaby. I really like the Fate series. Attack on Titan is a classic. Not exactly anime, but the Castlevania series on Netflix is SS tier imo. Other then that on a less mind fuck level Doctor Stone is a must watch in you like aspects of science and survival.

Are you forreal?? The cell saga was the best saga in dragon ball z I could’ve let you slide if you said the frieza saga but vegeta / Nappa it was just getting started then let’s also not forget about vegeta’s amazing character development.

What’s your opinion on one piece I hear a lot of people talk about it others say it’s too long?? Is it worth a watch or overhyped?

Make sure it's the first series, and not Nocturne. Nocturne is the newest series, and is good, but not complete. The first series is finished and so good imo. After that watch Nocturne.

Funimation killed DBZ. Cell and Buu were somewhat tolerable, but Super was a dumpster fire.

I liked the Broly movies. But like all anime, I skip the entire 'plot' for the action.

I grew up watching transformers and he-man. Those are old anime shows that might not interest you much if at all. I just thought maybe I contribute my 2 cents and add those in you know, just in case. I was never a fan of anime I only used to watch them when I was a young child when Saturday morning cartoons go off and animes would come on. Sorry I don't know any today's animes. As you can see I'm old school.

Yeah Cell saga is interesting, except for the fact that every episode is twenty minutes of someone concentrating his ki and shouting, two minutes of spectators reactions, and one (1) line of dialog to advance the plot. They made twenty episodes when they could have made 4. And before that we had to endure the absolute dreg that was frieza arc, with the same delaying and during the frieza saga is when they realized they had a huge success in europe and it was starting in USA, so they literally started whitewashing their characters with that transformation that turns them blonde. It's not even a joke.

Yes my friend, you have to learn that the best stories are the one that have an ending, and the end of saiyan saga was the legitimate tupac ending

Someone once asked me on a forum, a decade ago, why I wasn't watching one piece and I said this shit already had 300 episodes and I felt intimidated, I didn't know if I'd have the time to watch all this to catch up with the current episode and he scoffed and told me I wasn't supposed to watch everything and that one piece was an anime that you should pick up any time and watch without continuity, like if you were watching a tom and jerry cartoon or sthg, and I was like "WTF, why should I watch this if the show doesn't even respect itself" true story
