When I was sick family whom I thought was close did not call check up on me. After radiation and A week off I returned to Work

Immediately as I could not afford not to work. I cried to ex spouse saying I couldn’t do it since I was so

Tired. He didn’t offer a stay home we’ll figure it out.

My coworkers covered for me at work, did my work , fed me and took care of me.

I could name so many. It's actually a tough question picking just one thing. I think for me it's the fact the small amount of people who have always been around me are still around. It's like the perfect circle. I feel completely comfortable around them, and know none of them would ever betray me. Because of that I'd literally sacrifice myself to make sure they are safe, and never struggling. I'd make myself struggle just to make sure they are slightly better off then me. Even if I don't really show emotion, and act like stone most of the time. If not for them I'd honestly be nothing. So because they make me feel like something, it's the best thing possible in life imo.

super grateful for any and every act of kindness i witness/encounter in my day to day life...big or small...but off the top of my head, there was one incident that really surprised me just ‘cause i wasn’t expecting it at all...

i got drunk one night (i was like 23) and threw up on my dude’s new air jordans in the hallway of my apartment, i felt so bad i told him i’m really sorry i’ll pay for that but he was like nah don’t worry about it and he helped get me out of my clothes and into my loungewear and i can’t remember much after that ‘cause i passed out on my bed 😅... but when i woke up the next day, he had already washed my dirty clothes in the laundry and they were in the dryer. there was a glass of water on the night stand, a plastic bag in case i wanted to puke again, a nausea relief medicine (he apparently went to the store and got it)

i’ve only ever been drunk like twice in my life. i don’t usually drink that much but on that particular day, i went overboard.

after that incident, i swore to stand by this dude come hell or high water.

(i had only known him for a short amount of time when it happened so it just surprised me)

me and him still kicking it after 8 yrs lol

I've had people do a lot of stuff for me over the years from guys pulling over to help me when I'm on the side of the road with a flat tire or cause my car broke down. Once in college I started talking to this lady and I was looking at some essential oils but couldn't afford them and the lady bought them for me despite my protest she told me "God is telling me to help you". Um, when my sister died the Virgo came to my job and brought me flowers. I was not expecting that, especially from him, but he was the only one who did..my best friend didn't even do that.

There are a lot of other things but I think the one that sticks out most is when my cat was dying...the vet did so much free stuff for me. He didn't charge me for most of the stuff he did including keeping her over night. He didn't charge me for putting her to sleep either. I think I only ended up paying him only $ 500 for almost 2 weeks of intense care which if it had been any other place would have cost me upwards to $ 2000+. I sent my sister to him afterwards and she said he gives her free stuff all the time as well. He is just such a great generous man. 💜
