I felt like I've said this millions of times what mines was and it did felt like I've made this thread before with one of my past accounts but I can't remember (that's what happen when you getting old folks your memory start to fail you).

Anyway what was your favorite subject or activities in school. Mines was (again) lunch and girls. Those were my only two reasoning for going to school. Nothing more nothing less. I only hated it for just one reason and it's not because of the boring subjects listening to the teacher blabbing and falling asleep in all classes but mainly because of the bullies that used to bully me and picked on me. I stayed in fights defending myself. And it's always only the boys not the girls cus they would always come to my defense.

Gym class was ok but I just only wish I was more involve with gym when I was in high school like how I got involve with it when I finished school. As a result I think I flunk gym.

I loved band class. I played the trumpet and mastered it almost no time flat and it was a sad day when we all had to return our instruments back at the end of the school year cus I wanted to keep mines. I swear to you I begged my band teacher to let me keep it but she said nope. I failed band class cus my shyness kept me from performing during graduation day. Not my graduation day. The students even begged me to perform with them and I said no and sat on the stands with the rest of the other students. To this day I regret not performing. My shyness has always kept me from a lot of good opportunities.

Art class was boring. Wood shop was never my thing. I don't even know why schools have that.

Ok I've said a mouth full. Yalls turn

In elementary school it as spelling. I enjoyed all the spelling bees we had and would win them quite often. Funny how today my spelling is shit!🤦‍♀️

In middle school it was technology class or whatever they called it. We designed and built robots, recorded on video cameras like we were making tv shows or recording news broadcasts etc.

In middle school I hated keyboarding class! Mostly because of the teacher. We had this older lady who was actually quite built…..not fat, but very burly and she had this thick Irish accent. She was so mean! If she saw you typing incorrectly she would walk up to you and slap your hands with a ruler and say “we don’t peck like a chicken! We use all fingers to type!” She would also slap your hands if you were typing too slow.

In high school my favorite class was a tie between biology and current events. Not only were they interesting, but the teachers made it fun.

I didn’t like any subjects in school. I was great in drama and english/literature. I also didn’t like much in college except for the upper division courses during the final semesters which were mainly major-only (finance & marketing). I still always considered something postgraduate like masters or law (moon and mars in 9th house) but I ended up going back to school shortly to pursue a 2nd degree in nursing and actually enjoyed the prereq classes. It’s like I had a newfound appreciation for learning when not being pressured to complete something for the sake of completion of a milestone in life. But I eventually ended up changing my mind about that too xD

The other day I ran into an old family friend of my parents who’s in her 50s about to finish up her PhD! Quite inspiring but I’ve lost interest in ever pursuing further education.

I enjoyed most classes elementary through college but I think I'll have to say Social Studies was my favorite. Math for sure wasn't it.. in 9th grade I got in trouble multiple times from the teacher for printing off lyrics to old 80's songs (like Pour Some Sugar on Me) distributing them to my friends who were in the same class, and basically having full on discussions of the lyrics and analyzing what the songs were about (maybe sometimes singing was involved.. lol) Anywho, back to the topic.

Social studies, language arts, sociology, art classes, geography, psychology, etc.. I also didn't mind history and the occasional science class (depending on the year and what subject it was).

@xyzabc I won 2 spelling bees in elementary school too & made it to state 😄 my mom said they were more boring than watching paint dry & I cried

My favorite subjects were English and art, history and French running up. when I lived in Florida the school dance team had a block during the school day, so that ofc was my favorite class. If I could include community college electives I'd include mythology and film.

besides dance team, I was on the swim team in HS but wasn't ever very good except at breast stroke. never won any awards and usually came in last by far at the swim meets. dance in HS was a different story, thanks to my long background in competitive studio dance (where I was put in back in routines except for hip-hop for not being good enough to feature till I quit in 8th grade) I was featured in HS with solos. hence why despite no strip background a club took a chance on a 32 year old C-cup after they saw me onstage. 💅

Damn that's something similar to what I did. I remember this girl who was in my class told me to rap one of the songs I made up and I did and it had a lot of cuss words and it was nasty and the teacher heard it but ironically I didn't get in trouble for that. The girl was appreciative while the teacher laughed his ass off lol! I didn't intend for the teacher to hear my rap lyrics.

Yeah my teacher basically was like 'I like the interest in music but not in my class you need to focus on math'.

Fiiiine lol.

Was it free style or had you rapped this in your head already?

based. I'm sure you were full of childlike innocence but perhaps the teacher was concerned about them being hair metal lyrics specifically xD xD (notorious for being horny & misogynistic)

that's like when I got in trouble for dressing up as a pimp for a French project but I didn't mean it in like an evil trafficking vulnerable women way xD

Both really. I used to free style on street corners down in the ghetto surrounded by a few of my basketball friends. I can't believe the huge transformation I made. I went from this skinny kid on the block that used to love to rap and write my own lyrics to a now calm, chill, quiet, laidback jazz man. Wow!!! I mean just wow at that transformation.

I honestly don't care for high heels. If they let you do like some kind of dance with regular shoes, like the old days, that would be much more enticing/entertaining. I've only been to a strip club once and I was disappointed by the lack of entertainment and diversity in the dances.

Yeah it sucks because now I have 2 pairs of gawdy stripper heels I'll never need bc by the time I will be able to afford to pursue such ambitions I'll be too old & decrepit. But I think acting sexy all the time is bland, it's hotter to be silly. Like if I got a lap dance purchase I'd do this for sure.

Also if we're including specialized college courses in this thread I'd include SQL, front-end web design, and network topologies. & Music production ofc

It's probably no surprise, but astronomy was my favorite class. The teacher was kind of strict, but also taught us a bit about constellations and even astrology. It's honestly what got me into astrology and astronomy. Other than that I really enjoyed the computer class I took. We were taught all about building computer, a little about programming, then got to repair a broken one. After fixing our broken computer, we were allowed to play video games on it the rest of the semester.

Let it be history of my city (our schools today do not teach it, just why?).

But I think I had no, because my school was so-so and we had almost no good teachers. In my final years at school I had very good English teacher (it is a foreign language in my country), but to the time I met her my knowledge was not sufficient and I was not ready enough to study under such a good teacher, although she praised me. But I was not ready still, unfortunately.

Also he had an interesting history teacher for some time who was very eccentric but still good, but he was so funny and made me laugh so hard that I could not listen to him and laughed all the time. So I understood nothing. Also I did not like history.

Lunch

If only that was a subject we could take multiple times a day....

Actually you can learn a lot from lunch. Like learn how to eat the right and healthy kind of lunch and size proportion. That's why our youths of today is morbidly obese now. Schools feeding them junk foods. But the question is is it a requirement to pass it or fail it.
