My Libra mother is very intelligent.

I mostly think my emotions. They are mostly thoughts, state of mind...

1. I view my mother with high regard. We get along well, keeping in touch regularly. She's a Libra with Aqua moon.

2. I allow myself to feel my emotions fully but I analyze them to help maintain objectivity (so my emotions don't rule me). I usually express them verbally (or my facial expressions alone tell people how I feel) or I express them in writing, usually privately. I kept a diary for many years because it was good for my emotional health.

My mom is an Aquarius and I love her, she has been my and my siblings support even now that we are older.

my emotions shut down during emotional stress. which allows me to think rationally at the moment. I'm cold, poker face even if the other person is crying or shouting. I talk calmly about issues, but the emotions hit me later.

My mom is a Leo with Aries moon, my total soulmate!! We are very close, more like friends than mother/daughter relationship, but she gets often obsessed about me and treats me like "her thingy", not really like another grown up person. We never have conflicts or anything like that, it's very calm and comfy to be around her. I love her positive nature and she is so funny 🙂

I'm pretty emotional, but keep my emotions under control. Good news definitely can't make me cry 🙂 just like Aerazo said, I get my poker face on and look cold. I get lost when people around me get super emotional, I can't express my emotions like that for everybody to see.

His mum is not very motherly and he is fine with it. He told me she blamed her (Irish) Catholic faith for having three children.

What really strikes me is that he never called her mum, but used her nickname instead. His two younger siblings (Aquas) did the same.

Sometimes he called me with his mum's nickname 😐

*rolls eyes*

No wonder that our sex life went downhill (this was the main reason we parted).

I don't have a very good relationship with my mother. But we have a relationship none the less.

My emotions are always all over the place and they can become rather intense. Felt one moment then analyzed the next. Gemini moons are supposed to be able to communicate their emotions rather effectively, but I think I have problems with this because my moon sits in my 8th house. So unless it's an extreme anger outburst most of my feels are a huge battle internally. Sometimes I feel the harder I try to control certain emotions, the worse they get... the more powerful ones, especially the dark and deep ones will lead me down a path where I will withdraw completely (not depression) until I am able to balance any emotional turmoil.

I have read articles where people with 8th house moon more often than not have a troubled relationship with their mother.
