i really liked this movies, yeah i admit it was wierd and freaky at times but i think its one of those movies in which you have to look beyond the voilence and nudity to actually know what the movie is about, the book was very different to the movie, one thing was that in the book the character who played alex was a horrid person whereas in the film the director made you feel almost sorry for him, i thought Malcolm MCdowell who played Alex is a terrific actor and he was perfect for the role. I actually fell in love with him in that movie because he is such a hotty hehe but thats another story hehe, so what did you guys think of the movie? did you like it? and who thinks that Malcolm McDoewell was a hotty there? hehe

i like it a lot too... definitely a favorite and made it into my collection of elites 😛 i like the way it was filmed, color, music... content... all of it was 'in your face' ...to the point that i find it humorous which i know is a little sick, but it goes along with the nature of the movie. not only do i laugh, but you're right, it makes me think too. of what? acceptance and what is morally acceptable. the fact that i can accept that crazy movie makes me think about that and the whole point of the story and capital punishment, government control, moral control... any sort of control, OR perhaps a lack of control, like Alex's and his own acceptance of it. And yes, Malcolm had that crazy and attractive sparkle in his eyes and some of the looks he gave that i found very alluring.

I saw the movie and liked the way it was done by Stanley Kubrick. All his movies have a kind of modern day Shakespearian type feel to them. I think Malcolm MacDowell was pretty cute back in his day but I wouldn't say he was particularly so in that movie. He seemd very creepy to me like a daranged person committing terrible crimes with a crazy empty smile on his face because he wasn't even fully aware of the his own depravity.
