Omg Rosemary's baby!!!! Do yourself a favour and watch it, I've been waiting for someone to watch it again with. so good, so fucked lol

The babadook - I don't know how psychological you like to get with your horror movies but it doesn't get much more psychological than this movie.....you'll either turn it off half way through so you can watch Annabelle for the 10th time or you'll watch it and you will have the babdook following you around for 2 weeks which is what happened to me lol....seriously this movie played with my mind, which isn't hard to do mind you.

Insidious chapters one and two - seriously not a fucking movie you want to watch by yourself in your bedroom with the lights off, on a laptop with earphones in, its not a psychological thriller but you will be paranoid that someones in the room with you when you watch this. Its such a stellar movie and the way it goes full circle in chapter two makes it somewhat of a modern masterpiece when you compare it to what else is out there....enjoyed this movie very much and should be a horror essential.

The Tenant (1976)

Anguish(1987) is a great meta movie about horror movies, it remains in meta mode up to the very end of the end titles.

The Brood, Videodrome, Crash, and other stuff by cronenberg

From Carpenter😛rince Of Darkness has an interesting buildup with the dreams.
In The mouth of madness : I liked the ambiance of people going crazy.

Stuff by David Lynch

Giallos generally have a strong psychological component, my favorite is Profondo Rosso.

some british horror from the 70s with vincent price and co

Already mentioned:
Blair witch, I saw it in the theater and it was kid of tense, not really scary but the sequences when they are harrased at night made me very nervous.

Rosemary's Baby & The Shining: yeah real classics.

Bump.
I've seen most of these.
The babadook was good but I wouldn't day psychological.
Joshua is the kind of psychological I want.
like tHe movie 'may'
Psychological like the movie 'the exam' where people are locked in somewhere and are trying to figure a way out. Loved the saw movies
I also loved the cube movies, as well as any movie that kills people off in a meaningful way.

I'll try to think of some movies, but in the video game department I know a few. One is Until Dawn, the second is SOMA. I know everyone isn't a gamer, but you can watch a let's play for free on youtube of people playing the game. I recommend markiplier, he has a let's play of both but I'll give a rundown of both.

Until Dawn is a horror game where you the player makes game changing decisions upon realistic characters. So basically hard choices that may kill, save, progress, and utterly change the outcome. It's a mind fuck for sure.

SOMA is also a horror game that's going to be hard to explain. Imagine the earth is going to be destroyed many years from now and humans figure out a way to copy the mind of a small amount of people then place it in a virtual reality machine called the Ark. The Ark needs to be launched into space just for a chance to preserve what's left of humanity for just thousand more years at best.
