Halloween - 2007 version

Has anyone seen this film? If not I would recommend you don't waste your money. I am a fan of Rob Zombie, but he has totally ruined this film. There seems to be some fascination with men with long hair that I didn't fully understand and the acting was appalling to say the least.

Any comments?

When ever ANYone make a "redo" of a classic...It always suck!

I love Zombie's other works, I just think he shouldn't have messed about trying to 're-create' a classic film. I hated the fact he tried to give another reason for Micheal Myers being a psycho, I mean, who needs another reason, it gives you one with all the Cult of the Thorn business in numbers 5 and 6 of the series, so why try make it about him having a shitty childhood?! That was totally unnecessary. I was so looking forward to it as well, but I was really disappointed.

Zombie should stick to making original films, something he's good at.

I agree copperhead, I don't like remakes of horror films. With the possible exception of "The Hills Have Eyes". Probably because I never saw the original lol. I liked Rob Zombie's first two films. Hopefully, he will get back to creating originals again.
