it's all getting so ridiculous now

cooking which is a basic human skill is considered 'feminine'

female paying for dates with a freeloader is 'masculine'

i'm a weirdo who likes doing laundry and chores in general.

i think when people sling these words around (masculine/feminine),

they're actually talking about not the physical nor resources provided by both sexes.

but they're talking about the values that traditionally came from 'being a man' or 'being a woman.'

and this might be close to agreeing with @iamnotbot but i think that the modern frustrations of the dating world is because of the deviations from these gender norms. as when a woman keeps on providing financially, there's bound to be disappointments on both sides. the man is bound to feel inadequate when he can't provide.

tho i have to say i've always thought pisces men don't care about any of these.

most of them like that the women provide.

Yeah I think people should compromise and do 50-50 or as close as possible. It’s best if both people are capable of doing everything because then they can adapt.
