Do we get a bad rap?
there's nothing worse than the backhanded patronizing comments like

worst thing is you always get a couple of pisces to play along

ose this. I pave my own path but I don't dismiss that I am very much like the attributes held by a Pisces because I am one. I don't let this determine the outcome however. I am a dreamer, I can be floaty at times, moody has happened, who hasn't been depressed and yes I am intuitive.
So let the delusions begin! 🙂

Pisces might just be my favorite sign. The pisces I've been fortunate enough to actually get to know impressed me with being VERY smart and refined. An ex who was a Pisces was an ballet dancer who was into PG Woodhouse, Mervin Peake, King Crimson, Yes, Star Trek Next Gen, DS9....lots of great stuff he exposed me to and shared with me. He also gave me my best bday present ever: a wonderful picnic on the lawn of the Tanglewood summer music festival. We ate strawberries, drank champagne and listened to classical music on a perfect summer's day in the Berkshire mountains. And that reminds me of all the Sunday picnics we had by the water. Gosh, Pisces are sooo romantic. You've got a stellar rep in my book. A lot of people here are just hung up on an ex and pinning it on your sign. And so it goes....
I've just started dating a Capricorn. My first ever for this sign. I think I worry consistently that my attributes as a Pisces will chase her off. Her sign is so grounded and sturdy yet not very expressive.
Oh, yes please...that sounds amazing. For the past couple of weeks I've been thinking who I can drag to the opera with me as I have no friends who are into classical music, much less sit still for a couple of hours without taking a nap.
My father was an artist (he's now in spirit) and classical music along with jazz was the soundtrack of my childhood. My brother's a cellist and a teacher as well. I wish more people got into it because it's really deep and powerful music.
I hear you about the absurd complaints made against poor Pisces. Thing is, reading other zodiac threads I've learned that men of all signs a) are mysterious b) play games c) are hard to read d) are lying cheating no good bastards. I mean it's the same damn complaints! And really most of these ladies just hung their hat on the wrong cowboy. Part of life but then they come here and hope for a zodiac miracle. I'm tempted to say, you know you've reached relationship bottom when you come here looking for help...but that's not everyone who posts here. But yeah Pisces get laid on extra thick with the "sensitive" "wishy washy" "can't make up their minds" hooey. I was with a Pisces for 7 years. If they want you, they want you and there's no game playing like you'd believe reading most of the posts here. When it's right, it flows. That's what I believe. And you gotta be patient and wait for someone good. Well anyway, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! Thanks for the kind words.
Not sure you could call me insular. I'm mutable and tend to do quite a bit around what others like/enjoy. While I do have my own passions, and fight tooth and nail to defend them I'd like to think I embrace almost anything.

It has nothing to do with being a Pisces ... it has everything to do with you being insecure.
All different kinds of people catch shit, for varying reasons. Sometimes those reasons are valid, sometimes those reasons make zero sense.
But, the end result has nothing to do with what was said ... and has everything to do with subjectivity.
The day people learn that subjectivity is a choice, is the day they will free themselves from the disgruntlement they cause themselves.
If you own something someone else says about/to you that you don't like ... then you just gave them credit, which ultimately validates what they said.
That means you are that bad person they claimed you were because you owned it.
It will be cold day in hell before I'll lower myself to that kind of weakness and I'm full of Pisces in my chart.
If you claim that your reason for being a douchebag is because someone said so ... then you're actually pretty pathetic.

It used to make me regret my sign but once I turned 30 and embraced who I was I saw the sign as something special..
However, I still feel we get a bad name!
