Pisces and Texting?
Sometimes I feel too lazy to text lol... So if someone says something to me and I have a long response I'll just call them (if its a close friend)
It seems like some guys in general don't like texting as much as women.
If I'm interested in someone i will always respond to their conversation advances be it FB, texting, calling, etc.

what loulore said. aaaaaaand don't initiate if you don't like feeling that you're making all the effort. he could be shy, he could be a social cripple, he could have a technology phobia. he could have a wife and three kids. either way, you don't like putting yourself out there so don't do it!

oh, and to answer from a pisces viewpoint i'm just lazy. i do text back if i like a guy, but only if i don't get distracted by something shiny first 😛 or i'm not doing something else. i prefer face to face contact, you can't read body language via text!

I prefer to text! Honestly I do especially when I'm in my leave me the heck alone moods. That way I don't have to "fake" being my normal happy self when I am not. Plus it helps with that whole shroud of mystery thing I love to cling onto.
I can really give you advise as far as him being distant hell I just put up a thread about a Virgo doing that. So yeah, move on that does help. Keep busy do something else besides thinking about him. Clean up, organize, play solitaire. Something ANYTHING cause if you keep thinking about it you'll obsess and beat yourself up and that is the worst thing you can do.
But I will say that if a guy calls or texts and I'm just not even in the treetrunking mood WILL still answer because I really like that person. It would be important to me as a Pieces to make sure the person I'm truly interested doesn't think I'm disinterested or flaky, even though we are flaky people. But only with people who don't pull at our heart strings constantly.

I prefer to text only my man no one else haha...so my Pisces man is always texting me usually first and to balance it out I'll initiate sometimes...I like to read back his texts like a sweet memory ...hehe others I delete lol
This right here is the cutest, most adorable thing EVER!!! My heart is going to explode! I thought I was the only one to re-read texts as a sweet memory! *swoon* Oh Pieces.... such romantics! lol

Nope. I do that too. I wish I had infinite memory so I can keep them all. :-) I've been actually forwarding them to my email so I can keep them. Whenever I feel sad or down or just to feel loved, I look at them. Yes, we ARE romantics.

I like texting only b/c i can really devote the time to my response vs phone when I can be distracted.
Now, texting can be an issue b/c I can misunderstand what is said. I tend to read fast.
I'd always much rather deal w/ people in person, but I dont like confrontation..so that's when texting comes in handy. I can say what I truly feel by text.

We NEED our space and alone time, and don't relish interruptions. She advised that when you are wanting to talk with the Fish, but the Fish often does not answer -- by text or voice call or IM or email.. keep your cool and let them know what you wanted to talk to them about, give them time to process it and shift their mood/mode.. that Fishes often don't answer when they don't know what to expect from you/the convo and therefore don't know if they're up to hearing/discussing whatever they imagine it to be (people often use the empathetic Pisces in their lives like whipping posts to unload on, and we DO tire of it)...
Now, the reason this struck a chord in me was because I often ignore texts or calls, even from family members or good friends. I just don't feel up to dealing with that particular person at that particular moment, and maybe there was some draining emotional drama they dumped on me last time.. so I dive deep... however, were my sister to text me and instead of just, "Hey what's up, sis?" she'd say, "Hey, got any advice on avoiding murdering teenage daughters? Were WE really THIS bad?"... guess which one gets a response? The one that gives me a clue about what she wants to talk about. My "younger younger" Leo sister has this figured out, and is the best at getting a response from me consistently. My "older younger" Leo sister does not have this figured out, and complains to others that she barely ever talks to me. (But SHE is also into idle chit-chat when she's bored, and I have little patience for it.. when she babbles on for 10 minutes and I ask if she actually needed something, and she just says, "No, I was bored so I called you.".. well, it irks me. My ear fell asleep for THIS?!.. next call will likely be ignored. *sigh*)
Mind you.. I do believe this only works for NON-ROMANTIC, PLATONIC relationships... family and friends... for romantic.. I don't ignore you, even if I don't really feel up to talking to anyone. For romantic, I answer -- though if the conversation proves to be too heated or draining, I simply state such and say we'll talk later because I need to go do X or Y. If your "romantic" Fish is ignoring you on the regular.. they aren't that into you, and you're annoying them - so continue to do so at your own risk.

Oh, and P.S. .. Pisces often doesn't like initiating conversations, maybe because we don't like to interrupt you, we're content to be near you, around you, connected to you... we don't need constant attention or smothering or constant long, pointless convos (GOD no). If you initiated a text convo with your Pisces obviously he's not interrupting you.. and he responds.. he'll probably keep responding until he cannot think of anything else to respond to.. like if you send a couple texts that don't really require a response, so the convo thread dies off.. doesn't mean you upset or angered him necessarily.. just that the convo died off. Mind you, he's probably FINE with that, so don't automatically assume it means he's not.

So to the OP, your Pisces is obviously one of the non-initiating Fish... so maybe say, "Pisces, I really love hearing from you, it feels so good to open a text from you and see you're thinking of me. I would love to get more of those. What do you think?"

teehee Not even close. In fact, I'm often accused of being short and abrupt over text - I'm not into chit-chat even over text. The only thing that makes my texts "longer" is that I refuse to use chatspeak or abbreviations of any kind, except maybe the occasional "lol".. though admittedly, my trying to explain or clarify something can run on.. even over text.
But yes, my posts here have almost always been pretty wordy and long-winded *shrug*

If I get a txt, I'm usually quick to reply.. but I rarely initiate a conversation that way, unless it's important. I feel like I'm bugging ppl if I just txt to say, "Hi".
i have been with a piscies guy for three months sometimes we can text solidly for 12 hour stretches i found him the most attentive texter ive ever met.
I find I text mostly because that's what my friends do, though I like to talk on the phone mostly for three reasons, 1) I like to be genuine with what I say, but sometimes it takes time to find the words for what I'm trying to express, 2) if said thought is complicated, it's also likely lengthy, and therefore takes longer to text, and 3) if it's something important/urgent, I'll want a quick response. I like DXP because typing doesn't take much effort. I'm not a slow texter but if I'm on the go, texting can be a hassle.

if he REALLY REALLY REALLY likes you .. nothing will stop him from texting you. if i'm not really interested i'll float off into dreamland and forget to text. and then be like oh shit! whooops. and respond.. but if i'm not really interested my texts will be boring and dumb cuz i dont really care. sorry!!
