Just a brief background - I met a pisces guy back in November who was insistent on going on a date, so we met up and had a good time (or so I thought?). He asked for a second date and then swam away before we got
By best friends, I mean that we feel this soulmate connection. A connection beyond our control. He was the first one to verbalize this, but I was shocked he felt the same way as I did!
The sexual tension between us was palpable, but neither one of us made a move. Fast forward three months later and we finally slept together. It was amazing. The best sex I’ve ever had. He said the same, verbalizing it first again. We’ve been regularly sleeping together since.
He splits his time equally between work, my house, and helping his family (mother & brother). He rarely spends time at his own house, choosing instead to stay the night at my home or his family’s house.
He has told me I’m “his person” and that he loves me (several times, but in weird ways that aren’t the usual “I love you” ways). He shows me through his actions that he loves me. But then he says things like “Don’t get romantic feelings” and “We’re just friends with benefits” and “We’re best friends but I f*** the s*** out of you.”
Here’s the caveat. He is moving to another state in about 3 months. Not just another state, but one about 700 miles away. He has told me I should move myself and my two children there too. And he NEEDS to move. It will be his path towards success. As much as I want him to stay here, I want him to be happy and successful.
I want us to be together in a committed relationship. I would move down there in a hot minute to be with him! I have the money to move. However, I’m confused as to what his true feelings towards me are. Is he in love with me or does he just love me as friend with whom he has an amazing sexual relationship? Should I tell him my true feelings towards him and my desire to be with him? Or would that scare him off? Should I just enjoy my 3 months with him and then nurse my broken heart and emptiness when he moves?
