talking with your hands

I've noticed whenever I am telling someone a story or contributing to conversation eyes wander to my hands. I am by no means a hand model but I wonder why this happens? I don't have nails painted and they're not chewed or bleeding. Does anyone else talk with their hands? What gives? Is it something I can stop?

I mean no disrespect in saying this, but for a lot of women, their hands are directly in front of their chest, and they are probably not looking at your hands.

Oh you have social anxiety, prob. You can't look at ppl's eyes? That's solvable and i will have to seek anger management therapist.

no I don't have problem with making eye contact the point of the thread is me wondering if anyone who talks with their hands notices their hands being looked at?

I don't mind my hands being animated because my body language says I'm engaged in the conversation.

If the conversation is unpleasant, I usually lock eyes and from there it's all about delivery and tone. I keep my hands relaxed and on both side, straight posture and mind my distance.

that's the thing I feel like most people are animated but apparently not to the point of using their hands because I feel like I catch someone looking at my hands and then i'm like am I just swinging them around aimlessly?

you can't see my chest my uniform is kind of oversize nothing appealing to see
