Just wondering what other people think of this. First off, we were both born in 1989 and I'm 5 months older.

I'm a Gemini with a libra moon, Gemini mercury, and cancer venus/mars.

He's a Scorpio with a Leo moon, Sag mercury, and Capricorn venus/Scorpio mars.

NOW for the similar placements.
1st off, we both have Capricorn Uranus/Neptune/Saturn and Scorp plutos, but I think this is pretty common for people born around the same time?

Now for the even more similarities. Can someone explain to me how the house things work?? I've never really understood them.

Both of us are Aquarius rising.
We both have Pisces in 2nd house.
Taurus in 4th house.
Gemini in 5th house.
Cancer in 6th house.
Leo in 7th house.
Virgo in 8th house.
Scorpio Midheavens.
Sag in 11th house.
Capricorn in 12th house.

The ONLY houses we don't have the same placement is 3rd; where he is Aries and I am Taurus, and the 9th where I am Scorpio and he is Libra. Also my lilith is Libra and his Scorp.
Is this normal? I know Pluto and the other outer planets will be the same with similar age but I have done charts with close friends and we NEVER had so many same house planets. Sometimes we didn't have any the same.

Any insight would be appreciated, I'm curious!

Pluto, Neptune, and Uranus are considered "generational" planets because their orbits are so large they take several years to move through the signs. Unless it's a cusp year, people born in the same year will typically have these placements in common. Saturn, and also Jupiter since it takes roughly twelve years to complete a revolution, will also be found in common. It is their house placement and the aspects that they form which make them differ between individual charts.

Houses in a natal chart are figured according to the ascendant or "rising" sign. If you share an ascendant with someone then it makes sense that your houses will be distributed in a similar way, although the exact degrees will cause them to adjust accordingly.

I don't know whether or not it's "normal" to have so many similarities in charts with a significant other, but I suppose it does make sense that some people would be attracted to others whom share like-minded interests and approaches to life. I have also shared a similar chart with a loved one.

Yeah it's just hard to tell, I don't fully understand what this house business all means. I just know we have a lot of similar placements and get along well.

I dated like 5 scorps before him, including a Scorp/sag cusp and I couldn't stand them.

Someone told me that most water/air matches are karmic/fated. As in with others it's dependent upon what partners do but I hear water and air are fated, weather for good or bad. I'm not really sure if I believe all of that though...I think it depends on the people for sure.

Ah I see.

It's so hard to tell if things will work out into long-long term or not.

I have seen couples stick it out because of love and determination despite hard times.

My Pisces/Aquarius couple friends had very few tough spot but did have one recently but they are fine and have always been pretty solid.

My Pisces/Gemini couple friends had some MAJOR tough spots and are just now stabilizing as of a yearish but are now doing pretty damn good. They almost gave up, but they didn't.

Whoaa hold your ponies.

I know you want to make it work and make it last, but astrology can be a mind fuck. Just go with it and work with him.

You just want to know if it will work but you have to work on it and not let the chart decide for you.

Unless im wrong, carry on carry on.

No you are exactly right. I'm getting carried away. I think it could be just because the negative reputation scorpios and gems have I'm just extra obsessing about it. I bet if he was a Leo, Libra, or one of my other "ideal" matches, I wouldn't even worry!

I just stress. This is the most I've felt for a guy and the first time I've been able to call someone my boyfriend in 16 months and I have abandonment issues so Im wanting this to last. But I really need to chill out.

Tomorrow starts the first full week of school and we are going to have to really scale back on seeing eachother. This week we saw eachother 5x and I know with school that is highly unrealistic. I was thinking 2-3x. He said he will promise me 1 for sure and we will shoot for 2-3. He has 2 jobs, school on campus, homework, and the gym is very important to him.

I'm not sure why I'm worried...he says he doesn't care any less for me but he's just going to be really busy. We have been spending a ton of time together and even I have been feeling slightly crowded with how much time it's been. Distance (to a degree) DOES make the heart grow fonder. He said when he was in Houston 1 weekend he realized how much he cared.

I really need to be focusing more on myself too...I'm obsessing too much over him! I need to make more time for myself. I work 40+ hours a week, I'm taking developmental psychology AND Anatomy & Physiology and I am major stressing about the last one. Everyone (including my teacher) told me to drop it and don't expect to have a life. I also have to make time for my friends and I have band practice a few times next week for a Labor Day performance.

In an adult relationship (when full time work, school, other priorities, you time etc is involved) how much a week do you expect to see your partner?

Yeah I understand 100% where you are coming from.

He called me after he left last night and told me he hoped I didn't take what he said the wrong way. He says once during the week, once during weekend of quality time should be fine and if I want to see him a 3rd, 4th, I can work out with him. I need to work out 3-4x a week so if I do it with him, that works too.

But in the past 8 days, we saw eachother 6. And he invited me to the gym tonight AND tomorrow....I'm going to say yes for today because he gets off later and that will give me time for 1st day orientation but I need to take a break for tomorrow and focus.

I don't need A&P...but I do need my last science and there won't be another one that fits in with work. It's anatomy over the ENTIRE body...my teacher says it's the hardest class they offer at my school and it's a designated 15 hours a week PLUS homework. And then I also have psychology and work 40-45 hours...and bf.

It's going to be challenging but I have a very good memory. I just need to STUDY. I have ADHD and don't like to study, but if I need to I will. I procrastinate; I've knocked out 10 page papers the night before and gotten As. But I can NOT do that with this class. He's being understandable with my schedule, the least I can be is with his.

Is it because my libra moon that I get stressed really easily?
