So, I noticed something recently about my interactions with guys while in the "courting" stage. While I'm not a fan of dating more than one person at once, I tend to have a number of guys (and by number, I mean like 3) that I scope out all at the same time until I find one satisfactory. I won't generally do all the stuff that occurs while dating. Additionally, if I'm receiving more attention from one guy than the other, I'll "latch"(for lack of a better word) onto that guy even if I like the other. Basically, if you flatter me more, I'm more into you. So for guys, while I don't necessarily care if we're always together during the courting stage, if he wants to keep up with me, he has to be "on his game" a lot or I get bored or find myself interested in someone else who proves that he has what it takes. I bet this happens for many people, but I found it funny how it's sort of reminiscent of a leo, and my venus is in leo.

So, what is your venus placement, how do you do dating, and do you find that it matches your venus anyway?

Venus In Aquarius —
Magnetic & charismatic but aloof

t is often said that Aquarius is the sign of extreme aloofness, that despite the very outgoing, gregarious outer nature, these people can switch off from a relationship just like that, almost on a whim, as if the partner is of insignificance. This is not strictly true - yes, it is an Aqaurian trait but it all depends on the rest of the chart. Plenty of sentiment and warmth elsewhere in the chart will largely override this.

However, when someone has Venus in Aqaurius, then this trait will very likely show in their nature.
It is said that this placement contributes more of a magnetic, glamorous attraction than any other. This is of course excellent but can bring about false hopes and wishes with their partners whom only too soon realise how unattainable the person may really be. For despite this magnetic attraction, Venus in Aquarius is a very detached placement indeed. People who get to know them intimately will find it a confusing side to their nature that is otherwise so bubbly and warm. They can appear very detached emotionally, maybe feeling more at home with a group of people than spending time alone with partners. Freedom is absolutely essential to them - possessiveness and clinging they can not deal with at all. It could even be that friendships are more valuable to them than partnerships, and for this reason they themselves are maybe best suited to Aquarian people or at any rate those with a strong dose of Aquarius in their chart. However, the more I deal with Venus in Aquarius people as friends, the more it becomes clear to me that even as friendships there is a difficulty that arises from this detachment that they possess. Something is missing, even as friends.

We are only what we are and therefore it must be difficult for everyone who has Venus in Aquarius to envisage what it is like to be on the receiving end of this strange detached aloofness. One minute they can be loving and impassioned, the next strangely aloof. Believe me, it is not pleasant to the recipient and certainly leads to confusion and feelings of uncertainty, not knowing quite where they stand. If you are one of these people, all you can do is be aware of it: you can not change your Venus sign, therefore can not change this side to your nature. All I am trying to convey is the harm it can cause through no real fault of your own. You think highly of being open and honest, so therefore love must be based on a solid friendship, but again please try to be aware of the capricious Aquarian nature in these matters, for another typically Aquarian trait is their ability to simply switch off and exit a relationship as if it meant nothing to them, regardless of what has gone before. Imagine the hurt that causes, and with Venus, the planet of love, in this notorious sign, this is where there is potential for most damage from this very profound detachment.
??Venus in Aquarius is freethinking and gives the perosn their own definite individual style . A very positive side to Venus in Aquarius is their ability to get on well with practically everyone, regardless of their status or origin, etc. They are likely to have many friends, but also a variety of very different friends. In general terms, they are very sociable and charming, but not necessarily on a personal basis - they truly value their freedom and independence. Their ideas of sexual morality may also be coloured by this highly individualistic sign - sod what the rest think, they have their own interpretations of these issues and will do what they think! And we must not overlook intellectual stimulation - very important to Venus in any of the air signs.
??

The Venus sign can never be further than two signs away either side of the Sun sign, so the only people who can have Venus in Aqaurius in their charts are Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries.

This statement echos something I was told not too long ago. I'm not going to concede this but I won't deny it either. And yes, it can suck sometimes. Especially when I'm dating, it's hard for people to get beyond the surface.

Oh crap! There's a ring of truth to this .... oops.

And this is why dating is soooo much fun for me Candeh15 😉 LOL xD oh man ....

My venus is in aquarius and I prefer to be friends or at least kind of know the person i'm dating. blind dates don't do it for me. I have to get to know someone to actually feel serious for them. It can't JUST be about sex. yeah and it usually takes me a while to make a 'move'. Most girls don't want to wait... and I don't blame them but they aren't for me anyway.

I'm right there with you 😉 And yes there are some girls that can wait, like me 🙂 But I have an Aqua moon LOL!!!

Yeah, I get those guys that usually want to have sex right away, like after the 1st date kind of stuff. Major turn off.

VENUS IN CANCER HERE:

Feminine Venus fares well in Moon-ruled Cancer because both are concerned with the processes of reproduction and growth. People born with this placement are sentimental and affectionate with strong family ties, especially to the mother. Money and property are likely to come from the maternal side of the family.
Both the strength and weaknesses of Venus in Cancer are those associated with the female of the species. Negatively, the combination may mean a predisposition toward possessiveness, susceptibility to flattery, shyness, and excessive emotionalism. It gives a tendency to stay in one place and wait for good fortune to arrive rather than to actively pursue coveted objects and objectives. Positively, the desire to be desirable inspires cultivation of the virtues of charity and kindheartedness. Venusian Cancerians want to be petted, cherished, and admired for their good qualities. They may long for peace and quiet in the home sphere where they make a loyal contented partner. It's likely they are a competent cook and excel in the domestic arts. The passivity of Cancer tends to soften the emotional nature of the person born with Venus in this sign. It can be hard for these gentle souls to resist the advances of aggressive personalities. Being inclined to over-generosity in the bestowal of their affections, they need protection from their own tender instincts, for they can allow loved ones to take advantage of the willingness to oblige. The effect of earthy Venus dissolving into the waters of Cancer can be too sweetly sensuous to be altogether safe in this predatory world. Strong discipline is needed to counteract a love of comfort which can degenerate into a sybaritic craving for luxury. Both sexes are attracted to art, music, and literature, especially of a fanciful or exotic genre. Beauty is not a luxury but a necessity in life, and their appetite for pleasing sights and sounds can be more insistent than physical hunger. They prefer creations which are imaginative, soft in outline, muted in tone, and which permit one to indulge their nostalgia for a bygone era of gracious living and lavish loving.People with a strong Moon/Venus accent in their natal charts are popular and often beloved. They tend to be regarded kindly by all who are drawn within their aura of charm, grace and personal magnetism.Seldom emotionally assertive, they have no need to be obtrusive, since their sympathetic nature enables them to gain the best of it all

I have venus in Virgo. I don't date multiple people at the same time. I can't be with someone I don't click with on an intellectual level. I like understated men who aren't flashy or gaudy in appearance, but at the same time they have to be well put together (ie matching clothes) and with good hygiene. I pay attention to every little detail about a person I'm dating and store it all for future reference or just because. I don't like aggressive men who are loud, I prefer men who are very calm, chill, and relaxing. I'm extremely patient and pretty reserved with my emotions. I can also get pretty critical in my head about someone, although I never really speak on it unless asked.

My dating style ? I am such a sucker for love lol.

My venus in 7th house:
"You will always want to have a steady relationship that gives you a sense of being more complete than you are by yourself."

My venus is in Pisces:
"Venus is exalted in Pisces, they find soulmates, they love completely but they fall hard and quick consequently getting hurt a lot. They dont see peoples imperfections, they make them what they want them to be in their minds so a reality check is hard."

These things are matches perfectly.. God, I sometime wish I wasn't SO sensitive, it really mess up my mind!!

Venus in Leo - love is a grand, romantic adventure! In fact, you're an incurable romantic and with Venus in Leo you're likely to be in love with love. You need loads of attention and open displays of affection and anyone lucky enough to romance you will be doused with warm, generous gifts. Venus in Leo expects to be treated like royalty in love and sex, but you also know how to treat your romantic partner like the King or Queen of your castle in return. Venus in Leo has a tender ego and strong pride in love so you do need loads of validation and attention but you're free with compliments and have such a strong need to experience true love that once you find it, your loyalty knows no bounds.

Good or bad, that sounds like me...

Match that up with the Libra all over my chart and I see why I am such a hopeless romantic. Too much Venus!

Same here... it's not good when you know you are dreamy about those things and impulsive at the same time. But I'm learning from a new scorpio friend how to think with my feet on the ground, and not in my pink bubble.

Venus In Capricorn
You're looking for someone you can count on through thick and thin. It helps someone's case if they're accomplished in some area, or are a self-made man or woman. Capricorn is a sign known to seek stability through wealth and success, and you'll find prosperity attractive. But you also admire hard-working, resourceful people on the way up in life. You're a realist, so you're not expecting perfection, just someone perfect for you.

** Yes, just someone perfect for ME...

Venus in Scorpio here and I'm not sure what my dating style is? Don't think I even have a dating style ....I just tend to skip the dating stage and fall head over heels in love!

this is me too. tends not to work too well, unfortunately. a lot of people either don't trust it or get scared that it'll turn into something from fatal attraction.

Venus in Capricorn.

Venus in Capricorn people will try to win your heart by displaying self-control, presence of mind, and responsible behavior. These lovers want you to know they are goal-oriented, witty, savvy, and controlled. Nobody can get the best of them. They want you to see just how competent they are. They like some measure of predictability in their relationships as they are cautious in love.

Venus in Capricorn men and women project an aura of competency and their loner-like behavior can be attractive, in a cool way. They don't go gaa-gaa over love, or at least they don't express as much. Their lovers may complain that Venus in Capricorns are a little too practical and deliberate. Certainly, they can come across as lacking in warmth and spontaneity. Truth is, they can be rather romantic souls who yearn for a partner to share their lives with. Others' image of their relationship matters to them. They are conservative and willing to commit. Venus in Capricorn people are attracted to serious, goal-oriented lovers. They are a little shy in matters of the heart, but they don't want you to know it. If you like knowing where your relationship is headed, you'll be mighty pleased with Venus in Capricorn. These people plan ahead in love, and, unlike Venus in Pisces, they will let you know exactly where they (and the relationship) are headed. Pleasing Venus in Capricorn involves showing them you are practical and realistic. They want to impress you with the things they do. Appreciate their "saving for a rainy day" attitude, and be aware that they want to show you off in a quiet way.

I have a venus in leo and I agree on the previous descriptions. Just to add to ittho, I tend to fall for the "attention grabber" guy. He doesn't have to be loud or showing off. He just have to have a strong presense. Usually he's someone that others look up to, a natural leader, kind of arrogant and not afraid of working for my attention. Also, once he has it if I start to feel like I'm not on his list of priorities I'm really offended. I don't need to be around you all the time but I just need to know that you're thinkin of me (even if its a suddle gesture)it takes me awhile to warm up to men , even the ones I like. Once I'm comfortable with you I'll make sure you know that you're special to me. Otherwise I can be very stand offish. I enjoy heated aruments as long as they don't drag on. And I need recognition. If I'm you're lady I want evryone that's important to you to know it, and once in a awhile I want you're fb status to be you letting the world know how special I am to you ...lol plus, I tend to have a lot of short lived crushes. I'll like you one day and the next be totally over it.

Venus in Aries ..... complete inability to flirt.

Require kind, genuine, loyal, sexy mate who has our back 100% no matter what and expects the same from us. No games. Straightforward. Pure. Simple. Did I say no games?
Once you light our fire our embers will keep you warm forever. Try it - you will like it.
Rug up if you are considering lying or any disloyalty to your Aries Venus person - we come in peace and mean no harm but if you choose to be nasty, the resulting Ice may take you by surprise.

Venus in Gemini here - although I have Sun in Gemini as well and I don't know to which I owe my flirting/love style ,
perhaps in both.
I adore metal stimulation, intellectuality, mind games - not manipulation, though - playful banter.
That's always my approach and how I attract others, although my Taurus Moon and Cancer Mars give me a more calm, aloof and
dignified demeanor (and my pride probably comes from Leo Asc.) but once approched, I express myself in a playful yet subtle manner, almost imperceptible flirting.
I don't agree with some of the Venus in Gem descriptions as the ultimate 'players' but I admit I enjoy challenge and games to
the nth degree, however, I am 100% loyal. It makes me seem innocent and childish at times, too, although i don't quite realise it until others point it out to me.
Cheeky, sweet, and intellectual, this Venus.
