Does Pluto REALLY matter that much in synastry?

1. It's a generational planet that was only recently discovered compared to others

2. You are bound to have a lot of Pluto contacts with swaths of people born in a certain time frame

I mean tbh, I'd only count Pluto contacts with an inner planet if it was 2 degrees or even if it was exact. How would you guys treat it?

My 2nd husband's Venus conjunct my Pluto (1.36 degrees) and his Pluto sextile my Venus (3.36 degrees) and I swear it was the worst sex I've ever had. I hated having sex with him. I just found this out the other day when I was looking at our synastry. It kind of made me sad because I know someone who's Pluto conjuncts my Venus (1.29 degrees) and I fall apart every time I see him. This let's me know he probably doesn't feel anything. What a bunch of crap.

Karma? That is how I feel about this guy. It's like payback for the hurt I've caused other guys in my past.

OMG I just saw that my 1st husband's Mars is in my 8th house and my Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune are in his 8th house. I didn't feel very sexually attracted to him either. WTF?

Do you have anything in your 8th? I do have venus and rahu there. So any contact flip my world upside down.

What house system did you use? Try it with the whole sign houses..

Which one are you supposed to use for synastry? Whole Sign or Placidus?

Does it only matter if below a 2 degree angle?

Pluto intensifies other planets; it either reinforces energy or stunts/stresses it out, based on soft or hard aspects.
