I hate my Venus :-(

I have Venus in Pisces, and I hate the fact that I fall in "love" or "like" so damn easily. I'll often have fantasies of me & the man in question (if I really like him) being married someday with kids, a house the whole 9...I often get my feelings hurt if the guy doesn't like me back..I also misread signals A LOT when it comes to guys & think there is more to it than there actually is. Ugh I wish I had an airy more detached Venus. They don't seem to get hurt by such trivial things...is there anyway I can counter this stuff or am I just stuck living in this dreamy romantic imaginary relationship for the rest of my days?

Do you like your Venus and if not which one would you like to be? Like I said I'd def want an airy or maybe even a fire...

Once I am over it though, it's done, I move on and never go back. It does hurt until then, even when I don't want to be with the person.

Ok, getting over someone fast & being completely done when I do move on is something I've always noticed about myself. I remember one time, I thought I was like in loooove with one of my good guy friends & of course when I finally gathered the courage to tell him, I got essentially reeeejected lol. But I swear to you I sulked for like a day & was over it the next.

Do you guys ever notice that guys who weren't into you in the past & who for whatever reason you decided to remain friends with will come back later (I'm talking sometimes 10yrs later) professing their undying love for you? I get that a LOT. And it's like where the fuck were you 10yrs ago when I might have cared? Lol

My Venus is in an airy sign Gemini and I actually can sympathize with your feelings. My sun, moon and mars are all in Cancer and I feel the same way you do. When I like someone, I fall hard and it takes me eons to get over it. I also get my feelings hurts if the object of my affection doesn't return my feelings, but I think that's everyone. That's a normal emotion to feel.

Dude, my Venus is in Pisces as well. At times I really do hate it. Love, compassion, impathy, and romance all come naturally to Pisces...so with the goddess of love in Pisces we easily get consumed by our feelings. My Venus and mars are both in Pisces. And I'm also a lunar Piscean. So, I totally feel you. I can get wrapped up in someone way too easily.

I also get confused sometimes because it might seem as if I have feelings for more than one individual...so I worry that what I feel isn't very meaningful. Then I have to remind myself of all the Pisces in my chart...I'm a love machine! I try to embrace it, but sometimes it truly complicates matters. By the way, what is your sun sign? if I had a choice I would want my Venus to be in Sagittarius. My aries sun would make that extremely manageable for me.

I have Venus in Cancer as well. When I love someone I love hard. I've come to terms with it and I do retreat totally if hurt. It's called self-preservation! I also have a problem with dudes I was into and 5-10 years later they want to go "there" with me again. NOT! I have analyzed everything about the relationship, lived through the hurt for months, and then finally got over it. Who would want to go through that again? Some men don't know when they have a good thing until it's much too late.
