I think my ideal mate's chart would look something like this
Sun scorpio, pisces, or aries... These have been my best matches so far
Moon taurus, cancer, or pisces ilike a tender heart in a partner even more so than my own
Merc aries bc i find i have a lot in common amd general good communication with someone with this same placement as me... I like an assertive partner
Venus scorpio, pisces or taurus bc these are the best love placements in my opinion
Mars sagittarius, scorpio, capricorn, taurus... I like driven individuals such as myself and im very impressionable by the energy around me

Jupiter im not sure
Saturn in scorpii has taught me a lot of patience the hard way but i like it now
Uranus idk
Neptune pisces, scorpio
Pluto probably pisces, scorpio
Ascendant in cancer, scorpio, capricorn or pisces probably bc the initial impressions of these signs are typically really attractive to me im some way or another

If I could pick; I honestly wouldn't. Everyone brings forth a lesson to teach you to better yourself as a person. I like the ability to learn from other people, and their own experiences in life. I can be the teacher or the student, and visa versa. To pick your ideal persons natal chart is to push for perfection and there is no such thing. Just cause it's ideal; doesn't mean life experiences won't shift that persons perception of life, love and career. So I wouldn't do it; and invite their uniqueness whether it be negative or positive; cause even negatives teach us a lesson.

Just kidding! He's a pretty swell guy, whether you know him or not. I can see how these placements could be nice!

For me I like leo, aqua, or scorp sun, scorp moon, leo merc, leo or pisces venus, leo, taurus, or sag mars, and libra rising. Of course this doesn't always translate into who I like so I accept all placements! : )

Currently I'm with a leo sun, merc, venus, mars, cancer moon, virgo asc. guy and it's the least volatile relationship I've had so far.

While i agree and im always interested in nature vs. nurture, i also like to hear what others "think" they hypothetically would want in a partner...
