Positive Reinforcement

Those of you with good relationships (amongst all signs) come forth and share the love. 😄
It doesnt only have to be romantic love, also.

My boyfriend is really cool. He's a Libra & I'm a Sag.
Really the only things we have in common is that we're both out of our minds, we have a great sense of humor, and we're insanely in love. 🙂

We're literally opposites, but we balance eachother and make the perfect team. People say we play off eachother and are quite entertaining together.
He's street smart - I'm book smart. He's good with money and numbers - I'm good with communication and such.
He's loud and outgoing - I'm low-key and reserved. He takes life more seriously - I think everything is funny.
He's mostly passive - I'm more confrontational. He's scattered - I'm organized. He's health conscience - I say you only live once (scarf down that pizza!)
He's very private - I talk too much. 🙂

Plus most obviously...I'm 4'11 and he's 6'2.
& I can almost fit both of my feet in his shoe. Lol.


It's been a rocky 6 years...more than a couple break-ups...and some people still don't think we should be together.
But I'm glad he's still around. I'm not an easy girl to deal with, and so far he's the only one who can handle it...and hold my attention at the same time.
& I'm probably the only thing he's ever commited to in his life - the only thing he's made his mind up about.

i have the best relationship with my best friend (me: leo-virgo cusp, him: taurus). we've been tight friends for 8 years now and still going strong. no matter what trials and tribulations we've been through, we are completely devoted and loyal to each other. even when we scarcely saw or talked to each other when he moved away for school, we still found a way. we completely mesh. there's never any drama between us. we've never gotten mad at each other. only a few times can i remember where we were mildly irked or frustrated. the connection is strong because we both know what we want in a friend and we knew we found it in each other. we share the same values. he's so awesome!

i also have an amazing relationship with the boys in the band i manage. they consist of a cap, virgo, sag, pisces, and cancer. all are incredibly sweet towards me and i can't help but shower them with love in return! all, but the sag, express to me how much i mean to them and acknowledge my efforts. the sag is the most stand-offish but he is very timid by nature. he won't say it but he smiles at me a lot. the pisces is willing to throw down the compliments but he gets really spacey. he's on a space bender right now actually. he drifts off to la-la land for a while then comes back. the cancer is super mushy and was the first to butter me up. the virgo tries to be a little more aloof but lets me know on a regular basis. i had to initiate everything with the cap but once i did it was all over. he's the most communicative and expressive to me in a consistent manner. i probably admire him the most out of the lot. he's the most grounded, determined, and ambitious one. it's inspiring because u can't tell just by looking at him. he's the one with the most on his plate but he always gets shit done. he puts forth the most effort and is willing to do the hard work that is necessary. love it! he and i make great business partners.

i recently became intimately involved with a taurus guy. he's also overwhelmingly sweet, respectful, and lavishes me with attention. i have reason to believe this guy is falling for me!

there's all sorts of love in this girl's life right now!

Oh wow.. where do I start. I, like the other ladies, am amazed that my Aries has put up with me. lol 🙂 He says the same goes for him though. We've been through so much, a couple "breaks" and a very long distance thing for most of our relationship. He's really is my best friend.

Our personaities are oddly similar but in some ways SO different. He's taught me (more like strong armed me) that's it's ok to be more open and come to him when I have a problem or I want to talk. I've taught him that he doesn't really need to spill the beans to every single person he meets on the street. We've taught each other a LOT more patience because trust me we NEED it when it comes to dealing with each other.

But at the end of the day he's the person I want to cuddle on the couch with and just be together. Before him I'd with hold info and mull over wether or not to keep it to myself or give just bits and pieces of what I knew away. I find that now I can't wait to tell him the things I know.
I'm even kinda coming around to letting him cuddle me a little more 😛 I'm just not a cuddler but he likes to do it so.... I let him.

Yes Brianafay I mean deployments only a few of them we actually "broke it off" before he left. The first one we hadn't made anything official yet and he said it wasn't fair to me to wait on him yada yada... being a hero kinda thing. We still spoke and got together when he was home.

But yes deployments SUCK!!! The last one was hell.

You know, about a week or so ago I thought I was going to post my positive reinforcement here. Not sure yet, so I will remine mute.

Lover of love that I am I am so loving your story Skaks. I think it's a BEAUTIFUL thing to hear a man speak of his love interest in the way you're speaking of yours. No games, no manipulations, no silly stuff. I'm putting my wagers on you are NOT a brotha from the hood!! lol lol
