Should I delete photos from my past with ex's?

I don't think my current boyfriend knows I still have a collection of photos that I hold onto of my exes. We use each others computers and I'm afraid he will come across them sometime and question.. we both already know everything of each others pasts, but I don't know how he would react and I'm thinking it might be time to ditch them anyway..

I don't see why not. I have a little photo album with memories that are important to me and that does include some milestones with a couple of the exes. I'm not sure of your intentions behind holding on to these photos but if it's the same as me which is just for memory sake then why not? As long as you're not pining for an ex.

Store them on a flash drive or a CD or something. If you really think it'll be an issue for the current boyfriend AND you have no other attachment to your ex then no harm in deleting them.

Heck no... When its over, it's over. Everything thrown out.... You can't let go completely by still holding on.

If he doesn't trust in you and believe in you to the point that you have a worry because you had a life before him that you choose to remember .... then he's the one that should be deleted.


Period

I've only kept pictures of exes when I was in them and thought they were good pictures. Haha. Like, prom and such. I feel like if I kept them otherwise that it would only be holding me back. The memories are in my head and they fade with time, like they're supposed to. I'm not supposed to keep the memories fresh and alive of people who are far gone from my life. However, it is a personal preference. I'm not sure if that decision would be free of holding you back a little, but if you want to keep them, keep them. Only a person who is insecure and/or pretty jealous/possessive should be upset by that, imo. He might be curious as to why, but if he's a good guy, it won't get too out of hand, hopefully.

Also, I know aquasnoz said to put them elsewhere to keep them away, but I feel like if you feel there's a reason to hide them, then you shouldn't have them in the first place. I don't see the point in hiding that kind of stuff from people. Imagine if the guy found those in a more secure place then where you have them, now. Just more suspicious. But, I don't know what the best decision is for you, I just know what I think and what I would do. Good luck.
