A synastry question: if two people have their Mercury signs forming a square aspect but both of the planets ruling the signs are ruled but Mercury, does this soften the hardness of the aspect?

Eg.
Person A has Mercury in Virgo
Person B has Mercury in Gemini

These signs are squared but both ruled by Mercury. As their ruling planet is the same, shouldn't they find it easier to communicate, despite being squared to each other?

Omg stormyhotwolf88, are you a cancer? I am guessing you are from the symbol on your avatar. I have a cancer friend who absolutely LOVES that beatles quote and says it all the time.

My question is a confusing one, sorry! I just meant, are hard aspects in synastry (like square and opposition) softened or hardened by the signs having things in common like element or ruling planet?

lol yeah I'm a cancer, my Gemini roommate made a bunch of Live Journal Avatars for Gemini and Cancer when she saw I liked Astrology too X3 and yeah, I'm very stead fast on how I want my world to go ( I mean I resisted becoming religious after a horrible event that seems an angel helped me through) but I didn't want it to change me. :3 Beatles rock LOL

^^; I guess I'm not THAT into it to know rofl. http://www.e-tarocchi.com/Astrology-Compatitbility/ but if there are specific people that you know that have those in their birth dates, try out this free compatibility report I found last night. Since it compares people's planets and what sign its under. just a suggestion X3
