Why do exes still look at and like your social media, especially men?

My thoughts on this is that he may still have wanted to stay with you, but since you left him the trust has been broken. I do believe however that he may be using social media to sort of broadcast his life to give the appearance (whether true or not) that he is enjoying his social live so far. Since you said he is a private person and that he views your social media, I believe he is trying to give the appearance that he is doing fine, when he is most likely not and wanting things to work out in his mind. If I were you, I would take a step back and think on why you two broke up, why you allow him to see your social media (maybe to ease the loss of a bf) and how you think he may be taking it as well. When breakups happen, unless it involved some severe cheating I would try not to take to social media like that. It leads to confusion (much like that which you're experiencing), weird feelings and more heartache. So right now, you have to think about those 3 things I told you, then make a decision to keep him in your life or not. It's much easier for both of you to find a solution that way vs. not talking and figuring it out.

Sometimes, it's just pure curiosity, nothing more, nothing less.
