2. You aren't fucking him, and have never been in his bedroom, and here merely told you about his Teddies ... and so he feels like you are mocking him, so staying in the wrapper is a bondage for being bad for a Teddy gift.
3. He can't take it home because his bedroom Teddy will get jealous.

I've done this before. My boyfriend brought me a name plate from Ireland when he came back on leave from his deployment in Iraq. I left it in my car for weeks. It wasn't because I didn't like it - I thought it was a very thoughful gift. I just kept forgetting to bring it inside and find a place for it.
