well, it does help .. can definitely identify with 'distantiation' and 'privacy' or a loss of communal trust. in the times of internet using pen and hand is becoming less of a habit for sure,, but then like if I m writing a story, I cant just write on PC, have to write with pencil and paper.. strange satisfaction.
and handwritten notes are also becoming a treasure. :-)
in your initial post, you talked about dread or fear.. is that a specific interest / concern or just a random emotion you picked as example?

Interesting stuff...Should start taking note of my handwriting, never knew it played a role with self-reflection.. only time I write mostly is when taking notes in class. Don't do cursive but I write straight up(if there's a slant it's slightly to the right), letters less or about 1mm apart, but small width letters(not too packed) - is this an indication of any emotional state as far as you can see?
Don't know about anything indicating fear, squiggerly lines? i'm going to pay attention tommarow.

my dad applied for a job a few months back and they asked him to send in a writing sample for a handwriting analysis. i was shocked!

Currently, I am trying to analyze my own handwriting and am trying to use handwriting as a tool for self improvement.
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
