how do you test in a relationship?

was curious about this.

it might vary between person to person...

for example,

if you go on a date and you are a woman and he didnt open the doors for you, or pick up the check,

is that testing and then if he doesn't do so, you think to yourself...what a dick. this guy is not for me..

or

well who cares, cause i have my own money and i dont need him to pay for me and open doors for me,

therefore, it's OK,and i'm willing to overlook the fact that he didnt tip the waitress....i'll cover for him.

and he didnt open the door for me...what am i?? old fashioned? who cares..that's so 1975....

or he wears t-shirts and jeans when you go out and you insist he wear something nice but doesn't.

he doesn't take care of himself and he wears cologne that smells. you tell him that you want to buy him nice stuff and he doesn't want to listen to you.

is that testing? and when he fails he is not relationship material.







for a man, is it, when a woman acts like a princess all the time and you have to cater to them and it pisses you off. you hate princesses....

or that you found your lucky gal and she's a dream come true but only bad fact is, she wants to have an open relationship.

or that she whines and whines alot and treats you bad but you so like that secretly?

what is this testing?

and does it even work at all?

what if that person is soooo hot and you dont care about all that other stuff and just think with hormones?

The only test I put them through is not really a test... It is for me to get to know how I feel with this person. Do I feel he likes me? Do I feel respected and cared? Do I feel the same things for him too? And is there attraction? That's all to begin with.
