Question for Aqua mans sad behavior

White knighting and taking on a 'project'. Apprently it's a very aqua thing to do.

It takes them quite a bit of time before they commit. Sometimes they don't let go b/c their pride/ego can't stomach the fact that even after alllll that observation & studying of the other person, they missed a red flag or a potential clue that could've spared them the heartbreak.

Sometimes it's a pride thing. Some people would rather stay in a toxic situation than admit that once again, they F'd up & picked the wrong person. They'd rather save face to others & with themselves, & just using wishful thinking for the remainder of the relationship vs. just doing everybody a favor & cutting ties with the toxic person

Orrrrrr it could be that there's something good about the toxic person that he doesn't feel anybody else has to offer but her. Of course this type of thinking is irrational (To believe that only 1 person in a world of 7+ billion is capable of having a specific quality is insane).

^^^ For some people, they'll stay even if the bads outweigh the goods IF the "goods" are really really really good "goods" lol

Ever heard the term "P*****ssy whipped?" Yeah, for some guys, they'll completely overlook 99% of the red flags if she's got the best sex/head game. Sad but true. Irrational, but true. Men make dumb emotional decisions too.

OMG!krysrenee7 you make so much sense! THANK YOU! And if a man is whipped and doesn't love her, would he take her to meet his mother, buy very expensive things for her, have his child sleep over her house, have sex with no condom AFTER getting her pregnant multiple times, cook for her, and talk about her endlessly? I'm learning here and you seem to have the best insight.
