Something to give us all hope!

So today I was driving home and drove past a couple in their late 70's walking down the road holding hands.
I love seeing couples of this age seem so connected.

How do you guys feel when you see something as sweet as this?

I ask a lot of older couples what the secret to staying together so long is. I get varying answers.

"Team work" "Never give up" "trust" "Marry your best friend" etc

I was also advised this:
Keep his belly full and balls empty
lol which shocked me a bit coming from a much older woman.
However, advice duly noted lol

i saw this with my both my grandparents!! 😄 long lasting and together to the end.

my husband's grandparents too. Although his father's side, they passed on earlier, but heard his grandma on double virgo's side was a very stern woman, very strict. But on my husband's mother side, grandma was a wonderful, loving, nurturing woman! everyone loved her. Her gemini husband passed away long before but they were buried together recently.

At long last they are together.

I love this kind of stuff.

It really is a beautiful thing.

May we all hope to have love that last that long and be that strong until the end
